Talk about crazy moonbat ideas: Over at Newsweek…

The interim CCO said that Roe and Li had overseen the degradation of Newsweek’s content, citing a recent widely criticized piece that argued why Hillary Clinton could serve out Donald Trump’s term as president.

Round him up! He is violating federal law – he is a criminal. Put him in jail.

Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen recently told a Senate committee hearing that DOJ is “reviewing what avenues might be available” to charge local officials who do not fully cooperate with federal immigration authorities.

“The context of this is, of course, not only putting my [Immigration and Customs Enforcement] officers at risk, but also finding an efficient and effective way to enforce our immigration laws,” she said.

Trump Blocks Release of Democratic Rebuttal to GOP Probe Memo

    https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2018-02-10/trump-blocks-release-of-democratic-rebuttal-to-gop-probe-memo

President says House committee can revise memo and resubmit it
Justice Department cited sensitive portions, White House says

President Donald Trump on Friday declined to release a House Democratic rebuttal of a Republican memo alleging bias and misconduct by the FBI and Justice Department early in their investigation of Russian election interference.

Trump is unable to do so because it contains “numerous properly classified and sensitive passages,” White House counsel Donald McGahn wrote in a letter to the House Intelligence chairman, Republican Representative Devin Nunes of California. McGahn said the Justice Department concluded that portions of the memo were highly sensitive.

Adam Schiff of California, the panel’s top Democrat who wrote the memo, which is about 10 pages long, said that Trump was treating it differently from the four-page Republican version commissioned by Nunes that was released last week.

That’s because it IS different – the Republican memo didn’t compromise methods or sources. And it told the truth.

    http://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2018/02/number_3_official_at_justice_department_suddenly_resigns.html
The third ranking official at the Department of Justice, Rachel Brand, suddenly resigned to take a “dream job” as an WalMart executive. What makes her resignation even more curious is that Brand was next in line to oversee the Mueller investigation, behind Rod Rosenstein. Rosenstein is thought to be in big trouble and could be fired by Trump or resign in the near future.

It’s getting interesting. I need some popcorn.

Russell Hancock with Joint Venture Silicon Valley said, “Silicon Valley has been this place that is growing. And it was mostly due to people relocating here and relocating from other parts of the world. That’s changing.”

Joint Venture Silicon Valley’s own study of the out-migration says workers are moving to Sacramento, Austin, and Portland due to a number of factors. But topping the list is the high cost of housing.

“You can’t even contemplate getting into the housing market here,” Hancock said. “And I don’t mean just service workers, but highly skilled professionals. The tech elite are having a hard time affording reasonable housing in Silicon Valley. That makes it difficult for employers to recruit.”

Operators of a San Jose U-Haul business say one of their biggest problems is getting its rental moving vans back because so many are on a one-way ticket out of town.

Add to the list of reasons for leaving is the stench of the city.

    “” stanley kurtz

Creamer’s advice on how to handle conservatives (pp. 74-6)

In general our strategic goal with people who have become
conservative activists is not to convert them—that isn’t
going to happen. It is to demoralize them—to ‘deactivate’ them.
We need to deflate their enthusiasm, to make them lose their
ardor and above all their self-confidence…[A] way to demoralize
conservative activists is to surround them with the echo chamber of our positions and assumptions. We need to make them feel that they are not mainstream, to make them feel isolated…
    We must isolate them ideologically…
[and] use the progressive echo chamber…
By defeating them and isolating them ideologically,
    we demoralize conservative activists directly.
Then they begin to quarrel among themselves or
blame each other for defeat in isolation,
    and that demoralizes them further.
    “”
SOUNDS JUST LIKE WHAT THE MEDIA IS DOING TO US

on immigration – and other strategies
    http://www.discoverthenetworks.org/individualProfile.asp?indid=2438

Creamer also identified immigration as an issue that
“will have an enormous impact on the battle for power
between the progressive and conservative forces in American society.”
    He said:
“If the Democrats continue to stand firmly for immigrant rights,
the issue will define immigrants’ voting loyalties for a generation.
If we are successful, a gigantic block of progressive votes will enter
the electorate over the next 15 years—a block that could be
decisive in the battle for the future.”

“We must focus especially on the mobilization of the labor movement
    and the faith community.”
“We must systematically leverage the connections and resources of
a massive array of institutions and organizations of all types.”
“To be successful, we must put in place commitments for hundreds
of millions of dollars to be used to finance paid communications
and mobilization once the battle is joined.”
“To win,” added Creamer, “we must not just generate understanding,
    but emotion—fear, revulsion, anger, disgust.”
