Court ILLEGALLY orders full restoration of DACA program
Judge uses Trump’s Twitter post to undercut DHS phaseout

A federal judge in New York ruled Tuesday that the government must fully restart the Obama-era Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals deportation amnesty and accept brand new applicants as well as renewals, throwing a potential wrench in the ongoing debate over the fate of “Dreamers” on Capitol Hill.

Judge Nicholas G. Garaufis said the administration does have the power to revoke DACA, but it must give a sound reason for doing so — and the Homeland Security Department’s September 2017 rationale fell far short of what is required in that regard.

He even used Mr. Trump’s own tweets as evidence that the DACA program was ended precipitously, pointing to President Trump’s claims that he could “revisit this issue” as proof the program could have been continued.

Judge Garaufis is the second federal judge to rule Mr. Trump’s aides bungled the phaseout — but his decision is the most wide-ranging, ordering the government to not only allow those already in the program to renew their applications but also ordering the government to accept new applications.

“The question before the court is thus not whether defendants could end the DACA program, but whether they offered legally adequate reasons for doing so,” wrote Judge Garaufis, a Clinton appointee to the court in New York. “Based on its review of the record before it, the court concludes that defendants have not done so.”

The “legally adequate reasons” were that it was illegal, unconstitutional, and just plain wrong.

Justice for Gemmel Moore? Family wants answers in escort’s death at Dem donor’s home

Family and friends of a male escort found dead in the West Hollywood home of a high-powered Democratic Party donor last year continue to press for answers—in a case that has eluded the national media spotlight on incidents of sexual misconduct and racial injustice.

Gemmel Moore, 26, was discovered by police on July 27 inside the apartment of Ed Buck, 63. Buck is a well-known Democratic contributor, and has given more than $500,000 to an array of Democrats including Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti, Los Angeles County District Attorney Jackie Lacey and a variety of state and local organizations in California.

The Los Angeles County Coroner’s office initially ruled the death an accidental methamphetamine overdose. But the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Office Homicide Bureau on Aug. 14 announced they would investigate if there is any criminal culpability, after Moore’s family and friends disputed the initial finding.

Investigators told Fox News they would like to have the inquiry wrapped up in the near future—but have had trouble interviewing certain witnesses.

According to the July 31 coroner’s report, Buck’s apartment was riddled with drug paraphernalia. Among the items found were 24 syringes containing brown residue, five glass pipes with white residue and burn marks, a plastic straw with possible white residue, clear plastic bags with white powdery residue and a clear plastic bag containing a piece of crystal-like substance.

The report also states coroner’s investigators spoke with a woman who said Moore told her someone whose name is redacted tied him up “over a year ago” and “held him against his will at the residence in West Hollywood.”

After being deported 3 times in 3 months, he came back with $400,000 of meth for sale

A thrice-deported Mexican and his partner in moving methamphetamine each face 10 years to life in federal prison after they transported $400,000 worth of crystal meth for sale to an undercover agent.

Actually, Saul Bustos Bustos, 38, and Irepan Salgado, 24, rolled into town from Atlanta with seven kilograms of meth, worth $560,000 on the street, based on’s generalized $80 per gram street price. But only five kilos were set to be sold to the undercover agent.

In January, Bustos and Salgado each pleaded guilty to conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute 500 grams or more of a substance containing a detectable amount of methamphetamine. Not only is Bustos looking at a longer prison sentence because he has another charge — illegal reentry after removal — but he’s proven resistant to deportation. Court documents say he admits to bouncing back into the United States after deportations on April 13, July 6 and July 19 of last year.

Jimmy Kimmel Targeted by Street Artist Over Sunset Boulevard Car Wreck
Sabo hung a phony street sign at the spot where the talk-show host crashed his BMW.
Jimmy Kimmel found himself the butt of a joke Tuesday morning at the location where, a few weeks earlier, he’d reportedly crashed his BMW while trying to make an illegal left turn.

TMZ reported that Kimmel was struck while driving on the Sunset Strip in front of the famed Chateau Marmont Hotel in West Hollywood as he turned left. A nearby street sign proclaimed “Right Turn Only,” which was situated underneath a red “Stop” sign.

On Tuesday, though, an additional, very official-looking street sign was added to the post so that underneath “Right Turn Only” drivers are also reading: “This Includes Idiot Comedians.”

The Hollywood Reporter has learned that the phony traffic sign is the work of Sabo, a conservative artist who often lampoons liberal entertainers.

Sabo said he is picking on Kimmel because of a recent comment he made on a podcast. “Pretty much every late-night talk show (host) is a liberal. And that’s because it requires a measure of intelligence,” Kimmel quipped a week ago on Pod Save America.

He was obsessed with this YouTube couple – and drove across Texas to kill 1 of them, cops say

New Mexico resident Christopher Eric Giles was obsessed with Meg Turney, and hated her boyfriend Gavin Free.

He had become acquainted with the couple, as had hundreds of thousands of their followers, through their YouTube videos.

As he “developed a fondness” for Turney, he also decided, “I want Gavin Free to die alone, with no children,” according to the Albuquerque Journal, citing court documents.

Austin police described Giles as “single, lonely and disturbed,” according to the court documents. His phone was full of notes centering on Turney, whose YouTube videos run the gamut from relationship advice to online gaming to her popular “Ask Meg” segment.

By 3:40 a.m. on Jan. 26, Giles had arrived at the couple’s Hyde Park house, just over a mile north of the University of Texas campus, and had woken them up with the sound of a gunshot and breaking glass, according to KXAN.

The couple hid in a closet and updated the 911 dispatcher as Giles, 23, rooted through their home looking for the pair.

He left when he couldn’t find them, but Austin police were waiting for him outside, according to the Austin American-Statesman.

Officers told Giles to stop and show his hands, but Giles shot at the officers. Austin police officer Matthew Jackson fired back and fatally injured Giles.

A skier missing from Whiteface Mountain has been found in California.

New York State Police said Constantinos “Danny” Filippidis, 49, of Toronto, was found 2,900 miles away Tuesday in Sacramento.

Filippidis was reported missing last Wednesday by friends who said he could not be found as the resort was closing.

His belongings were found at the lodge and his car was still in the parking lot.

Since then, hundreds of volunteers have spent about 7,000 hours combing the mountain.

Crews used K-9s and helicopters as part of the search.

The steep and icy terrain make the search even more challenging.

Filippidis made contact with law enforcement officers in Sacramento.

He was reported to be in good health.

The circumstances of Filippidis’ disappearance remain under investigation.

He said Filippidis was found confused and unable to answer questions as to how he got to California.

Ramagano said Filippidis was receiving medical care after calling his wife and then 911.

    Filippidis was found alone.

Ramagano said Filippidis did not have a history of mental illness or substance abuse.

He said Filippidis was found wearing the same ski gear, including the helmet and goggles, he was last seen in when he was reported missing.

The wife-beater, the witch and the White House: Why the hell did Trump ever tell Rob Porter and Omarosa ‘you’re hired’?

‘Shut the f**k up, a**hole,’ snarled Omarosa Manigault-Newman at me. ‘How are your kids going to feel when they wake up and discover their dad’s a f**king f*gg*t?’

Yes, this is the same Omarosa Manigault-Newman who just spent a year inside Donald Trump’s White House.

I’ve met a lot of vile human beings in my life, from dictators and terrorists to sex abusers and wicked conmen.

But I’ve never met anyone quite so relentlessly loathsome as Omarosa; a vicious, duplicitous, lying, conniving, backstabbing piece of work.

Which beggars the question: what the hell was she doing inside the world’s most powerful building for 12 months?

The answer, as we can now see, was amassing a whole mass of damaging information to now use against President Trump and his administration on Celebrity Big Brother.

    Well duh!

That’s what Omarosa does. It’s her raison d’etre.

This is a woman who would do anything to get what she wants – however shameless and shameful.

Omarosa sidled up to me at the New York Mercantile Exchange and said, quite seriously: ‘Piers, do you want a showmance?’ ‘A what?’ I replied. ‘A showmance. You know, a romance on the show – we get it on together. Happens all the time on Apprentice. Everyone has sex together. Then we can make lots of money out of it.’ I stared at her grasping, ferociously ambitious little eyes, and laughed: ‘You must be joking, you deluded woman.’ She didn’t take it well. ‘What are you? Gay?’

From that moment, she turned on me like a viper.

I can honestly say I’ve never been spoken to in my life like the disgusting, foul-mouthed, homophobic way Omarosa spat at me throughout the weeks of filming.

Because I’d rejected her revolting sex plot, she decided the best line of attack was to repeatedly question my sexuality in the most crude and offensive manner imaginable.

At the time, I was separated from my ex wife, and mother of three of my four children – a fact Omarosa seized on with glee.

‘The mother of your children hates you Piers,’ she giggled on camera one morning, ‘and your children f**king hate you, they’re embarrassed by you. Is there another man raising your children?’

Foreign Freeloading to Blame for High Drug Prices

Americans are suffering pharmaceutical sticker shock. But the remedy Democrats are backing — price controls on prescription drugs — would inflict more harm by halting new discoveries and dooming patients waiting for cures.

Since 1950, our increasing longevity — an amazing ten extra years of life for the average American — has been mainly the result of pharmaceutical breakthroughs. If someone in your family has an incurable illness — cystic fibrosis, multiple sclerosis, Alzheimer’s — the idea of slowing the pace of new cures is unthinkable.

On Friday, President Donald Trump’s Council of Economic Advisors proposed a safer way to make drugs affordable here: negotiate trade deals that compel foreign countries to pay fairer drug prices.

Americans consume about 46% of the world’s brand name drugs but supply 70% of patented drug makers’ profits. France, Norway, the United Kingdom, Japan, Canada, Italy, and other government-run health systems buy the identical drugs at bargain prices — usually half what Americans pay. These state-run health systems often threaten to exclude a drug from their country entirely, even if it could save lives, until they extract a deep discount. Norway barred Roche’s breast cancer drug Perjeta, until the company slashed the price far below what Medicare pays.

    Following the Clintons’ Final Con

(Final? Don’t count them out yet.)

For years I have been saying that the Clintons lie when they do not have to, and they tell a gigantic whopper when a little white lie would be perfectly adequate. This time-honored observation explains many of their past run-ins with the law.

Now in the lurid aftermath of Hillary Clinton’s surprising defeat to Donald Trump we see a variation of my observation playing itself out. Eventually, it will probably land some of Hillary’s associates in jail; possibly it will snag even her. In 2016, despite being well ahead in the polls, the Clintons committed various misdemeanors when they did not have to, and they and their associates committed obvious felonies when simple misdemeanors would have been perfectly adequate.

Let us begin by following the money. At least $1.02 million came from the Democratic National Committee (DNC) and the Clinton Campaign in 2015 to the legal firm of Perkins Coie, an obvious pass-through. Then it went from Perkins Coie to Fusion GPS, another obvious pass-through. Finally it reached its destination, Christopher Steele, an ex-British intelligence sleuth who was contemptuous of Trump, had close ties with the FBI and other U.S. intelligence agencies, and boasted of his worldwide connections with, among others, Russians. He reportedly took $168,000 as payment for his services. That the DNC and Hillary’s campaign were firmly under Clinton control has been widely reported, most recently by Donna Brazile in her angry book about the campaign, Hacks: The Inside Story of the Break-ins and Breakdowns That Put Donald Trump in the White House.

Professor Uses ‘N-Word,’ Student Shouts ‘F-You,’ ‘Free Speech’ Class Canceled at Princeton
Students at Princeton learn a lesson about how free speech works at the modern university.

Last week Prof. Rosen received national attention for using the N-word in this class on freedom of expression. Some students walked out and protested the term’s use. One report, cited in Princeton’s main campus newspaper, says that Rosen asked, “What is worse, a white man punching a black man, or a white man calling a black man a n****r?” And when Rosen was met with disagreement of his use of the N-word, and on his continued use of the term in the academic setting, he said, he would use it, “if I think it’s necessary.”

Why was the course cancelled? Rosen’s email to students didn’t give specifics, other than that his decision had been “reluctant.” Calls and emails to Rosen went unreturned. Michael Hotchkiss of Princeton’s Office of Communications told THE WEEKLY STANDARD that the course’s cancelling “was Professor Rosen’s decision, and there was no pressure from the University.”

One student in the class tells TWS that he believes the course’s cancelling may have had something to do with an interaction that happened “about halfway through the first seminar.” A male student of color stood up, inches from professor Rosen’s face and shouted “FUCK YOU,” this witness claimed. Just before that, a female student of color had shouted at Rosen, as the first was approaching, “do you feel safe right now.” “There was no physical contact,” this witness claims, though at the time the student feared there might be. During that class, “nobody except Rosen defended Rosen,” the student told me. Another student in the class confirmed this account to TWS.

The course’s objectives, as Carolyn Rouse, chair of Princeton’s Department of Anthropology explained in defense of Rosen, was to have students, “be able to argue why hate speech should or should not be protected using an argument other than ‘because it made me feel bad.’” Now that Anthropology 212 has been cancelled, Princeton students have learned a powerful lesson about free speech, though perhaps not the one Rosen intended.

“I remember being handed the flag but I was trying to put my gloves on and hold the flag and get board,” he told reporters afterward. “Honestly, if there was anything, I definitely didn’t mean any disrespect.”

“The flag that’s flying on my house right now is way up there. So sorry for that,” White continued. “But I’m definitely proud — very proud — to be a part of Team USA and being an American and to be representing for everyone back home.”

But she also planned to tell the gathered tribal leaders from around the country that she understood the distinction of being a member of a tribe, and that while it was part of her heritage, she was not a tribal member. She repeatedly referred to Trump’s insensitivity, not only in calling her Pocahontas but in doing it last year during an event at the White House meant to honor Navajo code-talker veterans of World War II.

“The joke, I guess, is supposed to be on me,” she said. “I get why some people think there’s hay to be made here. You won’t find my family members on any rolls, and I’m not enrolled in a tribe. And I want to make something clear. I respect that distinction. I understand that tribal membership is determined by tribes — and only by tribes.”

She’s the joke, and the joke is not “supposed” to be anything but a liar and a con.

Responding to critics who claim she used a minority status to gain prestigious law professorships, she said: “I never used my family tree to get a break or get ahead. I never used it to advance my career.”

“Among those killed in the tragic plane crash yesterday: Sergei Millian, a Papadopoulis friend who had emailed Kushner and is said to be behind one of the most salacious claims in the dossier on Trump’s involvement with Russia,” wrote Tribe, who has been described as Barack Obama’s legal mentor from the former president’s days at Harvard Law School.

Tribe is no marginal figure. He co-wrote an op-ed for The New York Times Monday accusing House Intelligence Committee chairman Devin Nunes of obstructing the investigation into Trump’s ties to Russia.

The rumor that Millian was killed in the Saratov plane crash originated, as many rumors do, on the internet.

Conspiracy theorists claimed that a passenger named Sergei Panchenko was really Millian.

But as was pointed out by many responding to Tribe, the passenger manifest listed Panchenko as being born in 1973. Millian, whose real name is Siarhei Kukuts, is 39 years old, meaning he was born in 1978 or 1979.

When she asked again, the mum claims the woman told her to “shut the f*** up and shove it”.

The flight attendant can be heard in the clip offering to seat the woman on the following flight.

An unauthorized vehicle tried to enter the secure campus of the National Security Agency at Fort Meade on Wednesday morning, sparking a confrontation that left three people injured, authorities said.

Gunshots were fired during the incident, but officials said they did not believe any of the injuries resulted from gunfire.

At a news conference Wednesday afternoon, Gordon Johnson, special agent in charge of the FBI’s Baltimore field office, said the FBI was still collecting evidence but believes it was an isolated incident.

Despite prominent highway signs, drivers occasionally take the wrong exit and end up at the tightly secured gates. Most motorists then carefully follow the orders of heavily armed federal officers and turn around without getting into more trouble.

But in early 2015, two people were shot at by NSA police when they disobeyed orders outside the heavily secured campus. One driver died at the scene after NSA police opened fire on a stolen sports utility vehicle. Authorities later said they had stolen a car from a man who picked them up for a party at a motel.

The Florida school shooting is both horrendous and tragic, but it does also have some interesting points.

For instance, prior to this event, students openly joked that if anyone were to ever to come shoot up this particular school, it would be the guy that now has done just that.

That’s right – this is not a failure of gun control. Once again it’s a failure of people control. This person was known to be a likely candidate for an act like this.

An FBI official first identified the shooter as Nikolas Cruz, 19.

A student, who was not identified, said he knows the shooter. “He’s been a troubled kid,” said the student, “and he’s always had a certain amount of issues going on. He shot guns because he felt it gave him, I guess, an exhilarating feeling.”

“Everyone predicted it,” a student said about the #Parkland shooting.

He was flagged as a threat by the school last school year. Wasn’t allowed on campus with a backpack on. Why didn’t they get him the help he needed then? Definitely a mental health issue.

Current student talks about former student Nikolas Cruz: Everyone predicted he would shoot up a school. <—then WHY was he allowed in?

Everyone knew about his emotional and behavior problems, and talking about guns…. students, teachers alike. They expelled him, sent him to a school for problem kids and NO ONE bothered to SAY SOMETHING to local cops. Now 17 dead, 12 more in serious condition.

But, being the good little liberal socialist regressives they've been brainwashed into being…they didn't want to…JUUUUUUUDDDDGGGGEEE him. What psychotropic drugs was the shooter prescribed?

When educators teach students to question traditional values and label normal people as intolerant because they prefer traditional behavior, abnormal behavior of truly disturbed people are ignored. These mass murderers are not normal, but it is not PC to point that out.

Again I ask… where were the shooters parents? His disturbing Instagram posts with guns and knives? Prior threats to students? Unbelievable.

You can't police everyone hoping to keep tabs on their mental state. Better solution… Armed cops in every school

How long before CBSNBCABCCNNMSNBC (did I forget any) The View, late night talk show hosts and the NYT / Bezos Post blame President Trump for this, I cant bring my self to watch them on a good day much less today, probably already have…

17 Dead in Florida High School Shooting, Suspect in Custody
The suspect was identified as 19-year-old former student, Nikolas Cruz

The suspect was a former student at the school, and that Cruz had an AR-15 and multiple magazine in his possession. Cruz was expelled from the school "for disciplinary reasons," Israel said.

The Sheriff said they've begun to investigate the suspect's social media and described it as "very disturbing."

Douglas Stoneman High School is one of the biggest schools in Broward County with about 3,000 students.

An afternoon fire drill at the school created a scene of chaos before gunshots were heard Wednesday afternoon.

Multiple students confirmed that there was a fire drill early in the morning, and when the fire alarm rang again later in the afternoon, one student told NBC 6 that "no one expected anything that was gonna happen."

The former student suspected of opening fire at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland may have been identified as a potential threat to fellow students in the past, according to one teacher.

The 19-year-old ex-student, Nikolaus Cruz, was detained by police, briefly taken to a hospital and brought to the Broward Sheriff’s headquarters. Deputies said at least 17 people died in the shooting.

“We were told last year that he wasn’t allowed on campus with a backpack on him,” said math teacher Jim Gard, who said Cruz had been in his class last year. “There were problems with him last year threatening students, and I guess he was asked to leave campus.”

One student interviewed on the scene by WSVN-7 said the student had guns at home and talked about using them. Another, Nicholas Coke, called Cruz a “loner” who left the school a couple months ago and moved to North Florida after his mother died. Coke said he recalls an incident in middle school when Cruz kicked out a glass window and ran out of his classroom before getting caught.

“He had a lot of problems in middle school,” Coke said. “You never think anyone you know is going to do something like this.”

What if the Florida shooter turned out to be a “dreamer”?

That would sure throw a wrench into the Democratic strategy.
