    Once again, he’s right.

Dems could have passed gun control under Obama

More gun control won’t fix this problem.

What we need is more guns (concealed carry) in “gun-free zones” so that anyone who decides to go there will have to guess who might shoot back and be dissuaded.

When some goofy member of a white supremacist group–by the way, if you ever encounter a white supremacist, please hang on to him and give me a call, I’ve never met one–told news outlets that mass murderer Nikolas Cruz was a member of his organization, Democratic Party media jumped all over it. It was reported as fact, even thought there was no confirmation whatsoever that it was true.

The Associated Press was one Democratic Party organization that hurried to associate Cruz with “white supremacists,” in furtherance of its agenda. Now the AP has recanted:

A white nationalist appears to have lied to The Associated Press and other news organizations when he claimed that Florida school-shooting suspect Nikolas Cruz was a member of his obscure group.

Law enforcement officials have said they didn’t have any evidence to support the claim that Republic of Florida leader Jordan Jereb made in interviews with several news organizations.

“Too good to check” is the central principle of Democratic Party journalism. It would be hard to read a newspaper today, without absorbing false articles that liberal reporters preferred not to verify.

When it was first reported I copied it here – with, I believe, words of doubt.

I don’t watch Morning Joe on MSNBC, partly because why would any sensible person do so, but also because I imagine the Saturday Night Live spoofs of Joe and Mika groping each other on camera are probably accurate in at least one sense: Mika has gotten inside Joe Scarborough’s head. Right now I gather Slow Joe is in full outrage mode that Congress won’t do anything on guns.

Too bad for Joe that there’s this thing called voting history, and even worse, there’s the super competent Jay Cost, who went back and looked up Scarborough’s voting record on gun issues when he was a member of the House of Representatives. You can read Jay’s complete tweetstorm:

but here are the highlights, which Jay drew from the Almanac of American Politics:

    RUN JOE, RUN!–politics.html

Biden, in public and private, tiptoes toward a 2020 run

Seriously… Can you see that? Hillary and Bernie “B.S.” Sanders will likely try again, in fact I expect the Democrats to start with about twice as many as the Republicans had this last time.

Then again, what am I thinking? The Democratic candidates all know it will be as rigged in 2020 as it was in 2016 so most of them will stay away.

But will it be rigged for Hillary? Doubtful. Probably Kamala Harris.

Born with a silver spoon up her backside, Kamala should be easy to beat. They really needed someone who could plead poverty – like Hillary or Bernie “B.S.” Sanders.

Even though they aren’t really poor.

But Democrats bought it before, they’ll buy it again.

And Kamala is even whiter than Obama was, apparently. Although she won’t admit it.

There should be no “gun free zones”. They are nothing but shooting galleries for bad guys to seek out unarmed victims.
I’ve always been a man who believes one should live by his convictions. I that spirit I suggest politicians and their supporters who want gun free zones should be forced to make themselves and their homes gun free zones. Likewise if they are against “the wall” they should be forced to take down their fences and doors of their gun free zones. Lets see how they like it when they are left bare and defenseless as they would leave us and our children.

I spotted some videos who popped up recently on Youtube about Dwayne Dixon, that Antifa redneck (or should we said “blueneck”) who was at Charlottesville.

And in that video, we see Dwayne Dixon calling for cops and mentionning to the guy who filmed him he’s on private property and when the guy asked him the question who might be a inconvienent truth.

I don’t know how long they’ll be on Youtube, let’s see if some folks will mirror these videos elsewhere like Dailymotion, Bitchure, Dtube, Liveleak, Pewtube.

Top grossing “at 80 AMC theaters”…

‘Black Panther’ Top-Grossing Film in History at 80 AMC Theaters (out of 661, or 12%)

I’m guessing those theaters are in neighborhoods overwhelmingly populated by a specific politically preferred pigmentation.

Which brings us to our next point:

Segregated Voter Registration – whites not welcome?

Black voter registration effort launched at ‘Black Panther’ screenings

An activist group has launched a voter registration effort aimed at black voters at screenings of the “Black Panther” movie nationwide.

Members of the Electoral Justice Project, an offshoot of the Movement for Black Lives, are seeking to motivate black voters and increase political engagement.

I thought we largely did away with segregation as an evil thing, but apparently there are those determined to keep it going.

Toyota Prius software fix may reduce fuel efficiency, experts say
    Ralph Vartabedian

When Robert Enger took his Toyota Prius into a dealership for a safety recall, he didn’t expect that his fuel economy would drop.

Just six months after buying the new 2013 Prius, Enger learned that the company was recalling it to fix the car’s hybrid electrical system, which was overheating and frying itself. A technician plugged the car into a diagnostic tool that installed new computer code in two electronic modules. That was supposed to fix the problem.

The repair itself has become controversial amid allegations that the electrical systems are still overheating after the software fix. But Enger noticed something else: His fuel economy dropped by 5 miles per gallon in city driving. Enger, an electrical engineer from Hermosa Beach, checks his mileage every fill-up, dividing the number of miles he drove since the last fill-up by the number of gallons he pumped to top off the tank.

About 800,000 Toyota Priuses in the U.S. were recalled in 2014 to address overheating that damages the car’s inverter, a key part of the electrical power system. A lawsuit brought last year by one of Southern California’s largest Toyota dealers asserted that the software fix did not solve the overheating problem and could lead to an abrupt loss of power. A related complaint by the dealer is now under review by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

And here I thought the area was overwhelmingly Democrat and “tolerant”. Or so I’ve been led to believe.

Like Peter Thiel, Tech Workers Feel Alienated by Silicon Valley ‘Echo Chamber’
Some say they are defecting away from the high-tech cradle in part because of resistance to different values, ideologies.

Billionaire venture capitalist Peter Thiel has said he plans to leave Silicon Valley in part because of its perceived cultural uniformity. He isn’t the only one.

Several tech workers and entrepreneurs also have said they left or plan to leave the San Francisco Bay Area because they feel people there are resistant to different social values and political ideologies. Groupthink and homogeneity are making it a worse place to live and work, these workers said.

“I think the politics of San Francisco have gotten a little bit crazy,” said Tom McInerney, an angel investor who moved a decade ago to Los Angeles from the Bay Area.

“The Trump election was super polarizing and it definitely illustrated—and Peter [Thiel] said this—how out of touch Silicon Valley was,” said Mr. McInerney, who describes himself as fiscally conservative, but socially liberal.

Tim Ferriss, the tech investor and best-selling author of the “4 Hour Workweek,” moved to Austin, Texas, in December, after living in the Bay Area for 17 years, partly because he felt people there penalized anyone who didn’t conform to a hyper liberal credo.

People in Silicon Valley “openly lie to one another out of fear of losing their jobs or being publicly crucified,” said Mr. Ferriss in a recent discussion on Reddit.

Now I can’t find the story.

But he might make a movie – similar to “THIS IS SPINAL TAP” – about his efforts.

  21. Bodhisattva says:

MOONBAT SOURCE fails to mention the failure is in our own system to police itself and to hold Obama, Clinton, the DNC and those they colluded with – and that collusion did involve Russians – to throw the election responsible.

They didn’t “stop Russian meddling” because it was part of the “insurance policy” in case Trump won – they could blame it on Russia, they hoped, and get him kicked out of office.

And because they were too busy colluding with Russia at the time.

And what they accuse Russians of doing, “working online to amplify racial divisions and anti-government conspiracy theories,” wasn’t that EXACTLY WHAT THE DEMOCRATS ALWAYS DO?

In any case, if it’s true, it’s yet another failure of the Obama administration – but the author of the article tries to give him a pass because “they didn’t see it coming”.

    No kidding.

But seeing things coming is what we spend all that money for them to do, isn’t it?

  22. Bodhisattva says:

    Moonbat perspective:

Four Truths About the Florida School Shooting

They are lies, I’m not going to bother with them other than a quick summary so you won’t have to go to the site and give them ad revenue:

    LIE #1:
The gun lobby, and the Republican Party it controls, have accepted as a matter of necessity the ongoing deaths of hundreds of children as the price that they are prepared to pay for the fetishization of weapons. The claim of this lobby’s complicity in murder is not exaggerated or hysterical but, by now, quite simple and precise: when you refuse to act to stop a social catastrophe from happening, you are responsible for the consequences of the social catastrophe.

FACT #1: There are laws that would have and should have stopped most of the mass shootings. Laws don’t stop criminals from doing criminal things and moonbats can’t seem to figure this out.

LIE #2: The claim that gun massacres are mysterious or difficult or bewildering or resistant to legislation is a lie. When people say that nothing can be done because this law wouldn’t stop this one, or that law that one, they are acting in ignorance of the most significant and obvious fact: that no other modernized society experiences remotely the frequency or the horror of American gun killings.

FACT #2: If you look at the list of top 10 nations with gun crimes, America isn’t even on it. And those countries all have exactly the kind of gun laws moonbats demand – and they do not stop the gun crimes or the killings.

LIE #3: The Second Amendment is not a barrier to gun sanity. The reading, from left to right, of the amendment was—until the day before yesterday, historically speaking—that it provided no guarantee to the individual ownership of guns. The notion that it does is novel, radical, and wrong.

FACT #3: The Second Amendment made it clear that America’s best line of defense was personal ownership of weapons, of gun owners well trained and proficient. There are few things actually listed as “rights” in the Constitution – gun ownership is one of those few. QUOTE: the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed. That “left to right” reading is part of the attempt to claim you can’t have a weapon if you’re not part of a standing militia, an official branch of the government or what not, which is B.S.

LIE #4: The attempt to turn the question of gun violence into a question of mental health is obscene.

FACT #4: It’s not obscene, it’s the truth. We actually agree with moonbats on the narrow issue of keeping guns out of the hands of the mentally ill. And we need to look at those who are on, or who somewhat recently came off, certain medications, as there is a dangerous trend that people who are taking or who are coming off psychoactive medications are the ones doing the shooting.

There is one truth, only one, about this shooting and all similar events:

Were it not for gun-free zones, most or all of them would not have been what they were – likely any shooters involved would have been quickly shot themselves. So they still might have begun, but would have ended quickly with fewer victims. And more likely they would not have even tried had they gone to schools or theaters or malls or churches and, instead of a sign that said “gun free zone” they found a sign that read:

I think it was KirklesWorth who posted the photo I used to create that slightly adjusted meme.
