“Our money is not worth withdrawing from the banks,” grumbled the socialized citizens.

In 2012, after the president’s evolution on same sex marriage, meet Obama Boy.”

-It does not suprise me. If I found some POS molesting my daughter, I can say is may God have mercy on him, cause I surely will not. This guy has to be punished, because otherwise other might get the idea that real fathers protect and defend their daughters. The real lesson is clear; Shoot, shovel, shut-up. And were that guy my next door neighbor: “Officer, I didn’t see a thing, hear a thing and I don’t remember any thing”.

Moonbats and Mayans wrong about armageddon asteroid.

It went by without causing any problem at all – the world did not end.

Then again, we’re not quite half way through 2012 so I’m sure the moonbats who think the Mayans correctly predicted the world are still claiming that something will happen in the next 6.5 months or so.

Predictable result – the more things change, the more they stay the same. The military was always the behind the scenes ruler of Egypt anyway.

Biden blows it again – Praises ‘Arab Spring’ on Same Day Egypt Dissolves Parliament.

You know, as a “border town” we get a lot of political ads during Mexican election season (right now) for the various parties – aimed at the illegals who are here but still manage to vote there. One of them is by some guy who promises, if elected, to do away with the Mexican legislative branch of government.

Sort of like the Egyptian military just did there.

Have to admit… Never was a huge fan of Charlie Sheen – sure he’s done a few good things, like his bit part in “Ferris…” – but will admit that “2 1/2 men” did have some pretty funny parts. If the reviews are accurate then this might be a show for those who like to watch TV to check out.

    OK = Boycott Spielberg

Or not, seeing how the attack has more or less backfired.

Speaking of Obama, I heard there was some recent poll that says something like 68% or so of people either somewhat or greatly resonate with the “Bush’s fault” concept so my take on that is that if, after 3 1/2 years, even with control of the House and Senate for two of those years, Obama and the Democrats have not been able to undo the things Bush supposedly did that supposedly screwed everything up, that’s the best argument one can advance that they need to be retired and we need to give someone else a chance!

Yet another great example of moonbat civility. HBO puts Bush’s head on a stake, then apologizes.

    Not enough.

Heads need to roll. Figuratively, of course, not literally. I want someone fired over this – it crossed a line that should not be crossed, ever.

And I would be saying EXACTLY THE SAME THING were it someone who put Obama, Reid or Pelosi’s head on a stake.

Assuming the USSC doesn’t put a stake through it’s heart (notice how I worked the “stake” meme into this one?), here’s the future of Obamacare.

  25. Bob Roberts says:

    Chicago area* recent arrest photos.

*These were people arrested around or wanted in the Chicago area, apparently. A few had fled and were arrested in other places, such as at least one caught in CA then sent back.

Racial/ethnic distribution: Obvious whites: 11 Hispanic surname: 4 Obvious American Africans: 11.

If you look by crime, several of the whites had minor crimes – trespassing and such – and also a few were sex crimes, the worst being sex crimes involving underage persons. There were a few serious weapons related crimes and at least one murder among the whites, I believe.

Among the American-Africans most crimes (from memory on a quick run-through, I did not make an exact count) were either murder or some aggravated weapons related charge or some such.

  28. Bob Roberts says:

Another sign the honeymoon is over.

Prior to President Barack Obama’s marathon 54 minute speech in Ohio today, the Obama campaign sent our several statements promising the speech would be a major address framing the campaign going forward. Despite the hype, the speech was mainly a rehash of themes and ideas from the president’s recent stump speeches and his remarks were widely panned as overly long by the political press corps.

In the speech, President Obama outlined his view that this election is a choice between “two fundamentally different views of which direction America should take.” He characterized Mitt Romney’s vision as being the same as the “policies of the last decade,” specifically deregulation and tax cuts for the wealthy…”

Note, though, that Obama has not undone those “tax cuts for the wealthy” even though he’s had multiple opportunities to do so.

  29. Bob Roberts says:

    Oh, and then there’s this:

Before the speech was over, Politico’s Mike O’Brien begged the president to stop.

What, did he interrupt the President, or just tweet him or something?

  30. Bob Roberts says:

    Reactions reported in the comments:

On the air, MSNBC’s Jonathan Alter said it was “one of the worst speeches I’ve ever heard Barack Obama make.” He refused to back down.

ABC News reporter Devin Dwyer felt like we were all being lectured.

John Hayward of Human Events compared the speech to a filibuster: This Obama speech is so long-winded it might be the first attempt to filibuster an election.

[Actually that was the 2000 election with Al Gore and a fleet of lawyers apparently thinking if they could keep the outcome in question Bush might not be inaugurated by the Constitutional deadline then maybe they would have claimed since that deadline was missed he and Clinton just had to stay in office until the next election?]

I ask colleague for CQ transcript of Obama speech. Response: “Sure, but it looks like they only have the first 45,000 words.”

The long running time of President Obama’s speech made Politico’s Jennfier Epstein think of a new inspirational maxim for the country: In America we don’t quit til we’ve spoken for 54 minutes

  31. Bob Roberts says:

Well it was an object obviously designed to fly that was unidentified!

A saucer-shaped object on a very wide flatbed truck had some people wondering if the government was moving a UFO in or near Washington, D.C., Wednesday night. The truck came south on I-270, then took the inner loop of the Capital Beltway from Montgomery County into Prince George’s County.

When motorists snapped photos of the strange object and posted them on Twitter, some people became concerned enough to call local police. One man called 911 in Prince George’s County because, he said, he was concerned about a relative who lived along the route.

  34. Bob Roberts says:

No, Mr. Obama, we aren’t doing fine!

Note the use of “Mr.” instead of “President”.

  35. Bob Roberts says:

Obama gets something right: Claims Romney campaign message can fit ‘on a tweet’ with room to spare.

Obama is right. Romney’s message: “Look at the economy; this is a failed presidency.”

On the other hand, as demonstrated by his recent, rambling, at times almost incoherent speech, Obama’s message… well exactly what is it? Bush’s fault? I mean yeah, if that’s his message, that will fit on a tweet. But from all the things he’s been rambling on about, my contention is Obama’s message is so convoluted and confused it would not even fit on several tweets, which is why (among many other reasons) I see him losing in November.

The simpler and more concise the message the better.

Obama knows that the briefer the message, the better.

“Are you better off now than you were four years ago?” would fit in a single tweet with room to spare.

Obviously this message would sink Obama.

The more explaining a candidate has to do, the worse his situation.

And Obama and the Democrats have a lot of ‘splainin (cultural reference – I Love Lucy) to do!
