That’s funny! My nausea from watching the DNC has now been replaced with laughter. Thank you!

“I mean, really, try harder. There’s plenty of stuff Obama really has fucked up w/o resorting to this sort of stupidity.”

Oh you bad, bad, bad conservatives. What’s with the sarcasm and humor? tsk-tsk…

BTW, is Obama groping his imaginary Reggie?

  4. TonyD95B says:

As Dan Rather would say: “Fake but Accurate”.

Except in this case he’d actually be RIGHT.

  5. Granny Jan says:

Even conservatives @ NRO are saying that Michelle O delivered a great speech. I must be living on a different planet because it was so fake that even I was crying over this schlock, a great yiddish word which describes the speech perfectly.

The worst is the country just might go for it. We’re doomed.

  6. AC says:

Amtrak wants to squander $151 billion (yes, with a B) on an 18 mile tunnel

If they can earn $10 profit (ex-tunnel) per ticket (probably wildly high), and 100,000 people (ha ha) ride it daily, then the project will only take 413 years to pay for itself, exclusive of interest expenses or cost overruns.

  7. J says:

Unemployment rates of women, young women, and single women have all increased since O took office

  8. Dr. 9 says:

I have a weak stomach so i didn’t watch the First Ho’s speech. Did she mention the dozens of fancy vacations she’s taken while living in the Whitemans House? What about those $2500-per-night hotel suites for her and her ghetto pals? Or those thousand dollar lunches all paid for by the Nation of Fools.

She was on that stage laughing at every working White American, and most of them are too stupid to even realize it.

  9. AC says:

I was at the upscale/natural/organic supermarket today.

While waiting in line, the sounder of overfed people in front of me was checking out. $12.99/lb roast beef – check. $3.99/lb tomatoes – check. Gourmet $4.99/loaf bread – check. Assorted deli products (usually $6.99/lb and up) – check. Miscellaneous exotic imported fruits – check. Organic milk ($5.99/gal) – check.

    Paid for with food stamps.

    America, what a country.

  10. Granny Jan says:

I’m glad I didn’t watch Fox News tonight. I heard they were cheerleading for the Democrats.

  11. Anon-Y-Mouse says:

Granny, relax. The DNC is designed specifically to take the wind out of our sails and make us feel hopeless.

NO ONE is buying M’chelle’s bullshit. Once what she said sinks in (“…we need more time, this is the long game, Barack is a saint and has done SO MUCH already, because he cares about YOU SO MUCH…”), people are going to dismiss this for the lying drivel that it is.

What have they got? Nothing. “We need more time” but “it’s working…really, it’s really working. REALLY!” Yeah? Well 23 million Americans AREN’T working. All the lofty “It’s ’08 all over again” stuff is going to fall flatter than Nancy Pelosi’s face lift…because it’s NOT TRUE and everyone can see it in their own lives.

My prediction: Romney by 8 points.

(By the way…did tax dollars pay for those condoms on that hat?)

  12. Anon-Y-Mouse says:

By the way, Granny. You should have seen Krauthammer on Fox tonight. He shoved one up M’chelles copious derriere so politely it was amazing. He basically said she delivered a wonderful speech very well…too bad none of it was true!

They aren’t getting away with anything…they’re just preaching to the choir, “Tweeting” up a storm and being smug that Saint Soetoro can’t lose.

In the words of Ivan Drago “You vill lose.”

  13. Nathaniel M says:

    “Paid for with food stamps.

    America, what a country.”

Serious;? No Bullshite?? Well that might of been my sister-in-law. She would do the same and was on WIC for while and would buy the primo stuff.

  14. Granny Jan says:

Thanks, Anon-Y-Mouse. Good for Charles but I wouldn’t even say she delivered it well. She seemed like a bad high school thespian but she did manage to keep the scowl off her face.

I’ve seen her deliver this speech before. Most of the words were from a speech she gave in 2010 prettied up a little. It’s the “Barack has a memory like a steel trap” speech. She usually has that angry scowl on her face when she does it.

Massachusetts judge approves taxpayer-funded sex change for inmate

The truly sad thing is that even Republican-appointed judges mock us in this way.

See John Roberts for the latest example of that.

  17. Sam Adams says:

So Barack supposedly gets an “incomplete?”

    What is incomplete?
Does he have more secrets to share with our Russian allies?
We only have a national debt of 15 trillion; what would the number be when Barack completes his mission?
He’s only taking over the automotive industry, banking, student loans, the health care industry, he’s busy shutting down coal-fired power plants.
Chevy Volt sales have been robust; maybe he will hit the road and sell some more of them.
Will he be welcoming more terrorists to Washington DC?

Are there just small pockets left of free enterprise that needs to be stamped out?
The US still has the highest corporate tax rate in the world. Which of his tax policies will induce more companies to either be formed in the US or move back here?

Maybe the White House needs a new paint job…maybe a different color scheme?

Yeah, Barack, you have so much left to complete.

  18. Ummah Gummah says:

That judge SR posted about looks like George Costanza!

  19. Ummah Gummah says:

Yep, the judge was appointed by Ronald Reagan himself:

“But Wolf, who was appointed to the federal bench by President Ronald Reagan in 1985, found that the security concerns are “either pretextual or can be dealt with.” He said it would be up to prison officials to decide how and where to house Kosilek after the surgery.”

Not saying that Ronnie had any way of knowing what this judge would turn out to be later, but I never ever see one of these Moonbat judges going Conservative.

  20. Alphamail says:

    Sam Adams says:

“Incomplete” is Obama’s new method of voting “present.”

  21. Jimbo says:

LOL! Incomplete! That’s it! Obama is incomplete.

Mentally, morally, humanly, reasonably, ideally, passionately, and completely… incomplete.

By liberal standards – the boy should have been a live abortion. He met all their current criteria for killing babies.

  22. AC says:

The stamper and her brood were completely out of place. They’d have fit into the lower rung of Walmart, but instead had chosen to get their freebies at a different sort of establishment.

They were all extremely overweight and wearing ill-sized t-shirts which had seen a few hundred too many wash cycles. Hair was greasy and poorly cut. The kids were fidgety and loud.

The clientele there is mostly educated professionals and nice older people. You know, the people who work or have worked for their food.

There is no way they can make it through the month spending like that. They have to be paying for some food out of pocket. It’s a shame they weren’t living within their means and using the balance for self-improvement.

This more than anything is what infuriates me about welfare. I don’t mind helping people who respect the sacrifices of others and make a good faith effort to do their part improving themselves. What I can’t stand is the entitlement attitude; the thought that people deserve to mooch off of others because others have more than the moocher.

Nobody on any form of assistance needs to spend $12.99/lb on roast beef under any circumstances. I don’t think any responsible, average middle-class working family can justify that. The cheap primo Boar’s Head is like $9/lb (last I remember), at least not with the economy what it is and with the typical retirement account being grossly underfunded.

They must not teach the difference between needs and wants in school.

I don’t know exactly how much they had. I had one pound, and they had way more than me.

If I had to guess, this was probably the typical unmarried but cohabiting food stamp recipient who games the system by keeping the boyfriend’s income off the paperwork. Since the EBT money isn’t needed to prevent starvation, it becomes a once monthly splurge. This group mooches the benefits because it can, then squanders the money because it can.

It makes me angry to see people clearly abusing the system and taking money/credibility from those who honestly need a temporary hand up, or worse, many of the disabled returning veterans who have been ignored by the VA and forced onto food stamps just to make it through the month.

  23. Screwy Puppy says:

Hank Williams Jr. said something that might be religiously intolerant, and you could try to argue homophobic. Baldwin then tweets Hank is a racist.

  25. Jodie says:

One of the glaring hypocricies at the DNC is that they are all praising Obama for government funded abortions in Obamacare. It seems that not a one of them remembers Obama promising over and over that there would be NO government funding of abortions in Obamacare.

  27. Judith M. says:

I love Michelle’s fake stammer “I.I.I, love Barack so much”. I was just glad I didn’t have a beverage in my mouth when she said he was “for all the people”. LOL! These people are living in a parallel universe.

  28. Sam Adams says:

True confession time….I could only listen to bits and pieces of Michele’s speech.

    My favorite line:
    “Barack works so hard”

    Second favorite line:

“And I’ve seen how the issues that come across a president’s desk are always the hard ones — the problems where no amount of data or numbers will get you to the right answer . the judgment calls where the stakes are so high, and there is no margin for error.

And as president, you can get all kinds of advice from all kinds of people.

But at the end of the day, when it comes time to make that decision, as president, all you have to guide you are your values, and your vision, and the life experiences that make you who you are.”

That’s right, Mr. Smarty Pants Romney. You can’t use data or analytical ability, or history to provide you an informed decision. You have to make a call based upon your values and vision, even if the stakes are unbelievably high.

So now we know how national secrets about planting a virus to disrupt Iranian centrifuges get released. Don’t consider the damage that could be done. Don’t consider the lives that could be lost. Don’t consider the harm to our intelligence agencies and their ability to do their work tomorrow.

    Make Barack look good.

Like I said when flukey first became known. She was not testifying, she was applying for a job. She will either be elected in the next 4-8 years or be given a position (if Clinton was in office it would be the reverse cowgirl) in the next dem president’s administration (I rate the chances at about 30% she is in bammy’s if he wins).

    AC says, September 4, 2012, 8:56 pm

I had nearly the same experience while in college (San Diego, mid 70’s). Standing in line to purchase hot dogs and mac & cheese (literally), the Spanish speakers surrounding me had carts loaded with nice steaks, seafood, cerveza and other expensive extravagances that I certainly couldn’t afford, all paid for with food stamps. Hell, I moved when my rent went from $125/mo to $135/mo, and I couldn’t afford the increase. That was a tough time to be a white guy. Still is.

  34. Louie says:

If you were a behind-the-scenes string-puller (think Soros) and wanted to destroy the United States by means of your little POTUS-puppet, what would you have him do differently than what obama has been doing?

  35. Louie says:

    And another serious question:

Why is it so difficult (read impossible, nearly) to find a truly 100% conservative political candidate?

  36. Louie says:

Oh – – – she said incomplete! I thought she said incompetent, and I was going to agree with her!!

  37. TrickleUpPolitics says:

Acc to Dana Millbank of the WaPo, there are 5,000 delegates at the DNC convention and 15,000 reporters. He says it is a media lovefest. Read about how the sponsors spend all day feeding, gifting, and massaging (literally!) the media:

  38. Louie says:

As one who has given the same speech in the same room to varying sized crowds of the same type of people, I can attest that there exists a vacancy threshold, above which the crowd response diminishes greatly. In a capacity-filled room, it’s easy to get the crowd invigorated. In a less-than-half full room, the crowd becomes lazy, all other factors being equal. This seems not a function of crowd size, but rather a function of person-density; large room / small room — no difference.

An anecdotal, uncontrolled and unscientific observation, perhaps, but my experience nonetheless.

  39. Bob Roberts says:

Obama gives self “incomplete” grade. (It is down a ways in the link.)

He’s moved down from “present” to “absent”

A growing majority say he does not deserve a second term.

And while the liberal media continues to have serious relapses, at least sometimes they are honest about his shortcomings here as well as here.

So, taking everything into account, I believe we can come up with a more appropriate grade than “incomplete”. This is it. EPIC FAIL. Obama and the Democrats have done their best to turn this nation into a train wreck. However, I believe the American people, and America itself, can overcome even Obama and the Democrats.

  40. Cameraman says:

I tried but could not expose myself to watch the DNC, I just sat all night dragging my fingernails across a Chalk board, and got the Same Experience!

  41. wingmann says:

    Just watch’s shorter.

  42. wingmann says:

  43. Bob Roberts says:

Building the pathetic legend of Obama: “When he arrives, the rain stops.”

It’s a simple question.. if you had a #Panthers game, Concert or Soccer match with a 20% chance of storms would you cancel 24hrs prior?

Poor Erica Stawick must be a moonbat – she doesn’t seem to comprehend the issue was Obama couldn’t fill the 75K or so house so he moved to a 20K or so house:

no, but you also wouldn’t need near the security/prep that this requires. that’s the only reason I can fathom for this move.

Moonbats – so out of touch!

Schumer apparently has no idea what Obama’s position on Jerusalem is.

Dems remove “GOD” from party platform.

Endorse tax funded abortions, trying to make us all complicit in the murder of the unborn.

Decades of flushing tax money down the education toilet and what does NY have to show for it?

Gore decided to skip the freak show.

Cuomo decided not to show up either. The press says he’s “shunning the spotlight”. Yeah, I would too if I had to share it with those freaks and the head freak: Barry Hussein Sotero.

    Solyndra honcho ran from cameras!

And in Charlotte, the media lovefest by media for media continues:

Do not be deceived by all that talk of delegates and floor speeches: This is a convention of the media, by the media and for the media. There are some 15,000 representatives of the media here for the convention, and only about 5,000 delegates. This mathematical imbalance means most journalists spend their time with other journalists at events sponsored by corporations and hosted by media organizations for the purpose of entertaining advertisers and promoting themselves to each other.

  44. Mickey Shea says:

Check out this “Chief Diversity Clown” from the State Dept:
Robinson ticked off several common phrases and went on to explain why their roots are racially or culturally insensitive. The result was a list of no-nos that could easily result in some tongue-tied U.S. diplomats, particularly in an administration that swaps “war on terror” for “overseas contingency operation” and once shied away from using the word “terrorism.”
For instance, Robinson warned, “hold down the fort” is a potentially insulting reference to American Indian stereotypes.
“How many times have you or a colleague asked if someone could ‘hold down the fort?'” he wrote. “You were likely asking someone to watch the office while you go and do something else, but the phrase’s historical connotation to some is negative and racially offensive.”
He explained: “To ‘hold down the fort’ originally meant to watch and protect against the vicious Native American intruders. In the territories of the West, Army soldiers or settlers saw the ‘fort’ as their refuge from their perceived ‘enemy,’ the stereotypical ‘savage’ Native American tribes.”
He singled out another phrase, “Going Dutch,” as a “negative stereotype portraying the Dutch as cheap.”
And “rule of thumb,” he wrote, can according to women’s activists refer “to an antiquated law, whereby the width of a husband’s thumb was the legal size of a switch or rod allowed to beat his wife.”
Further, he explained, “If her bruises were not larger than the width of his thumb, the husband could not be brought to court to answer for his behavior because he had not violated the ‘rule of thumb.'”
He went on to urge caution over the word “handicap,” as some disability advocates “believe this term is rooted in a correlation between a disabled individual and a beggar, who had to beg with a cap in his or her hand because of the inability to maintain employment.”

Here’s the latest chapter in the ongoing demonRAT War on Women:

  48. Bob Roberts says:

He explained: “To ‘hold down the fort’ originally meant to watch and protect against the vicious Native American intruders.”

What’s racist about that? The intruders were indeed vicious and those holding the fort had not only a right but a duty to defend it.

  49. Bob Roberts says:

    @Mickey Shea:

Of course, as usual, the lunatic liberal leftist is a liar:

It is often claimed, incorrectly that the term “rule of thumb” had an etymological origin in a law that limited the maximum thickness of a stick with which it was permissible for a man to beat his wife.

It is true that British common law before the reign of Charles II permitted a man to give his wife “moderate correction”, but no “rule of thumb”, by this or any other name, has ever been the law in England.
The only types of “moderate correction” allowed specifically excluded beatings. For instance, a husband was allowed to confine a wife to the household – which, no doubt, the moonbats would have a field day talking about if they could stop lying about the false claim husbands were allowed to beat their wives.

  50. Ghost of FA Hayek says:

The kids filed into class Monday morning. They were all very excited.

Their weekend assignment was to sell something, then give a talk on salesmanship.

Little Sally led off. “I sold Girl Scout cookies and I made $30” she said proudly,

“My sales approach was to appeal to the customer’s civil spirit and I credit that approach for my obvious success.”

    “Very good”, said the teacher.

Little Debbie was next. “I sold magazines” she said, “I made $45 and I explained to everyone that magazines would keep them up on current events

“Very good, Debbie”, said the teacher.

Eventually, it was Little Johnny’s turn. The teacher held her breath. Little Johnny walked to the front of the classroom and dumped a box full of cash on the teacher’s desk. “$2,467”, he said.

“$2,467!” cried the teacher, “What in the world were you selling?”

Toothbrushes”, said Little Johnny. “Toothbrushes”, echoed the teacher,

“How could you possibly sell enough tooth brushes to make that much money?”

“I found the busiest corner in town”, said Little Johnny, “I set up a Dip & Chip stand and I gave everybody who walked by a free sample.”

They all said the same thing, “Hey, this tastes like dog poop!” Then I would say,

“It is dog poop. Wanna buy a toothbrush? I used the President Obama method of giving you some crap, dressing it up so it looks good, telling you it’s free and then making you pay to get the bad taste out of your mouth.”

Little Johnny got five stars for his assignment.

    Bless his heart.

Bob Roberts I learned about the rule of thumb in law school. Are you saying the College of Wm and Mary got it wrong?
Absolutely. Isn’t it a going proposition here that the USSC decision on Obamacare was wrong? Is it your position “authorities”, or in this case “judges/lawyers” are never wrong?

While an effort was made, mostly by moonbats and feminists, to use this phrase as an attempt to claim domestic violence was once actually an approved method of discipline, and thus villify “old white men”, the phrase existed long before as a term that essentially suggested it meant “to estimate” or something similar. To use the thumb, or to make some sort of estimate in general, when engaging in carpentry or some other craft or trade.

  54. Bob Roberts says:

During his propaganda presentation, Clinton will apparently ask, “What kind of country do you want to live in?”

I have an answer for him:

One where the Constitution is rejected, not used as toilet paper or kindling.

One where we are allowed to make choices and taught that we will have to live with the results of those choices, particularly when those choices cause the creation of new life, which has rights too.

One where government is returned to it’s appropriate minimalist function, not allowed to expand into a wasteful, bloated force which intrudes itself into every aspect of our lives.

That’s a beginning – there’s much, much more. But I’m going to give others a chance to answer the question, correcting Clinton’s country-hick grammar in the process, so:

In what kind of country do you want to live?

  55. Bob Roberts says:

I love it when moonbats turn on moonbats – a continuing series!

Federal prosecutors want Shepard Fairey, the artist who created the Barack Obama “Hope” poster, to serve time in prison. Prosecutors did not specify how long Fairey should be incarcerated (though, statutorily, his punishment would not exceed six months). Additionally, government lawyers have contended that Judge Frank Maas could fine Fairey up to $3.2 million.

Of course, this whole mess is based on the apparently true claim that “he didn’t create that” but rather stole an AP image and then made efforts to hide that fact.

  56. Bob Roberts says:
