Ronil Singh Symbolizes Legal Versus Illegal Immigration

Nothing could be more emblematic of the relation between legal and illegal immigrants than the murder of police officer Ronil Singh by an illegal alien the day after Christmas.

Singh came from Fiji to become a police officer in a small California town. The well-liked family man with a newborn son worked hard to improve his English. He was gunned down by a lowlife during a traffic stop.

Authorities said they identified but won’t yet name the man who killed Singh of the 12-person Newman Police Department on Wednesday and has not been captured. They believe the attacker is still in the area some 100 miles southeast of San Francisco and is armed and dangerous.

One thing they will tell us is that the suspect is in the country illegally.

It defies comprehension that Democrats are willing to shut down the government rather than fund border security in light of the current situation. Every Democrat in Washington should be forced to wear a portrait of Ronil Singh on a chain around their neck until they vote to fund the border wall.

On a tip from Heckrules.
