School Safety Denounced as Racist

America has acknowledged from its inception the fundamental right of adults to keep and bear arms. The media would have you believe this causes school shootings. A more likely cause is that schools are run by people with the same mentality as the media:

Salt Lake City high schools will begin staffing weapon detectors after fall break. But some parents and a few Salt Lake City School Board members worry the technology may have an outsized impact on students of color.

Maintaining order at public schools has a disproportionate impact; just ask Eric Holder. Consequently, moonbats oppose it — as Kristen Fry found out the hard way.

A number of school safety experts warn that security measures like metal detectors are not a safety guarantee and instead can be detrimental to students — especially those from communities of color.

With educrats listening to The Experts and a substantial subculture raised by rap and TikTok without knowing their fathers, it is a wonder there aren’t shootouts in the cafeteria every day at lunch.

District spokeswoman Yándary Chatwin said the district is including its social-emotional learning team — a team of specialists working in conjunction with school counselors to help students develop social and emotional skills — in conversations about the detectors to mitigate the emotional and mental impact the technology may have on students.

School board member Mohamed Baayd says walking through a metal detector is “emotionally exhausting.”

You can have public safety, or you can have moonbats in charge. You can’t have both.

On a tip from Wiggins.
