Shelley Luther, Patriot

Revolting against a new kind of tyranny requires a new kind of hero — like Shelley Luther.

Via Biz Pac Review:

Shelley Luther, a Dallas salon owner, was sentenced to seven days in jail and fined for refusing to offer a groveling apology to Democratic Judge Eric Moyé for opening her shop in defiance of Texas shutdowns.

You can’t eat hysteria. Luther opened her salon because she has kids to feed and so do her employees. Besides, liberal rulers like Lori Lightfoot are not the only ones to require salon services.

The judge issued a cease-and-desist order, commanding her to close her business. Luther reacted by ripping up the cease-and-desist order at a protest last week.

Judge Moyé, a self-proclaimed “lifelong Democrat”…

… threatened her with prison if she would not to submit to starving quietly at home in accordance with her rulers’ senseless wishes. Jail is a good place to catch the ChiCom virus; that’s why liberals have been letting convicted criminals run free — right there in Dallas.

To avoid incarceration, Luther was commanded to shut down her shop, apologize for “being selfish” by keeping her business open, and pay a fine.

Watch Moyé condescendingly demand that she grovel:

Hiring a lawyer as Moyé suggests, with money she in not allowed to earn, will not put food on the table. No feudal lord was ever more arrogantly tyrannical.

Now watch the patriot’s response:

Her courage has resonated. A GoFundMe page to support her has already brought in $400,000.

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton and even Governor Greg Abbott have scrambled to get on Luther’s side. Paxton sent a letter to Moyé insisting he release her immediately; Abbott has apparently sent a similar letter.

Not good enough. Abbott is the one inflicting the lockdown on Texas. It needs to end immediately.
