Socialist Elizabeth Warren to Run Against Scott Brown in Taxachusetts

Electing a RINO to the Teddy Kennedy Senate seat was a step in the right direction, but hardly a stake through the heart of Bay State moonbattery. When he comes up for reelection, Scott Brown will be faced with Elizabeth Warren — an unabashed socialist:

Who is going to protect employers from marauding bands of IRS agents?

At least it’s nice of this collectivist to let us keep a “hunk” of the wealth we create. That way, we can pretend we aren’t technically slaves.

Compliments of Sean Q. Tip from Byron.

  1. Keith in Seattle says:

Turn this woman out on the streets and if Conn elects her then they deserve her.

  2. Mickey Shea says:

Why are these lunatic leftie women all such woofers?

  3. Lao Zedong says:

Notice that in her example “everyone else” paid for the roads, schools, police, etc. but somehow the factory owner didn’t.

  4. Spurwing Plover says:

Let her go live with her buddy chavez im sure lizard lips would enjoy her company

  5. Hail The Amberlamps! says:

Straight-up Marxist. They’re turning off the cloaking devices and coming into plain view, that’s a good thing.

Behold the glory of Socialist thinking America.

  6. MG says:

    This is like saying:

Hey, everybody! THE SKY IS BLUE!! VOTE FOR ME!!!!

What a ridiculous assertion she’s making.

  7. Artfldgr says:

who paid for the roads is irrelevent given that we all use them and can make use of them as we see fit…

ie, the factory worker put the roads to better use

his appreciation for that returns to the state as taxes that they can get in excess of what he would pay if he didnt use the roads.

she wants him to pay more for roads, he moves his factory over seas where he paid even LESS towards the roads and such. however, like a smart restauranteur, they invite him in and make him comfortable to spend his money, and do not quibble that he did not pay for the plastic flowers. as they make returns in excess of that for him being there, and not with this superior equal female

  8. Dupree says:

“you moved your goods to market on the roads the rest of us paid for” As LZ said, the owner has paid too.

“you hired workers the rest of us paid to educate” – so she is implying these people were educated for the employers sole benefit, and not the individuals? ridiculous.

“you were safe in your factory because of police forces and fire forces that the rest of us paid for.” again, owners pay too, and they are only protected if they purchase insurance.

“You didn’t have to worry that marauding bands would come and seize everything at your factory, and hire someone to protect against this” – Please explain the existence of private security guards. Again, roaming thugs can get away with anything as long as they flee before the police arrive. Only insurance covers your risk.

  9. Turbo says:

Wow! Leftards sure are smart huh! Just ask them!

  10. big-pete says:

It all comes back to the bedrock liberal axiom that wealth generation is a zero sum game. That in order for someone to win, others have to lose. If you accept that then her points begin to make a fragile sense although who’s to say those losing are other Americans and not, say, the Chinese? Anyway, since the axiom is false all her arguments are false.

  11. Trace says:

    You all stole my thunder.
Factory owner already pays a big “chunk.
    Income Tax
    Vehichle Tax
    Vehicle permits
    Utility Taxes
    Property Taxes
    Matching Social Security Contributions
    Uneployment Insurance
    Whatever OSHA makes him pay
and on and on and on and on and on and on.

  12. Sealb4 says:

Its too bad Elizabeth Warrens mother didn’t available herself of Planned Parenthood’s services when she was pregnant with this future socialists dimwit. That would have been a procedure I could have gotten behind. What social contract? We don’t have a social contract, we have a Constitution that governs this nation. Following this seriously brain dead twits line of reasoning leads to the realization that the leeches who comprise 46% of the country’s NON TAX PAYING population owe the rest of us a hell of a lot of money because it is our taxes that paid to build and maintain the roads, bridges airports, schools, public libraries and other infrastructure, not to mention the vast fortune we have spent on police, fire, EMS and educator salaries. The leeches contribute to nothing, but benefit from our largess disproportionately.

  13. Ghost of FA Hayek says:

She is making the same old-tired Marxist argument that how hard you work, the risks you take, your creativity, your passion, your drive means squat.
And boiled down, at the root of it all your TIME is property of the state.
Her hunger for power and control sits atop of this notion that only by her good graces are you allowed to keep some.
Scott Brown’s problem, being a RINO is that any stand on principle has already been bargained away. So his counter offer is what, forty percent is yours ? Half ?
What will it be now ? The hungry wolf, or bear ?
The republican establishment argues that we MUST compromise our principles in Taxachussets and elsewhere , or we will lose these states.
Folks, following this game plan, the fat lady has sung even before the kickoff.

  14. Ummah Gummah says:

Did anyone notice that this woman seems to be really into hunks? Maybe she has a thing for the RINO Scot Brown.

I bet she keeps a copy of Playgirl he appeared in under her bed and her girlfriend found it and now it’s all Scott Brown’s fault, of course.

  15. GoY says:

The most surprising thing about this whole thing… she has a *maiden* name. Can you imagine being married to that screeching leftist harridan? It would be like going to bed everynight with the TV on playing a continuous loop of Ed Schultz and Rachel Maddow.

  16. GoY says:

ANd maybe she should ask Gibson Guitars about bands of marauders that show up at your factory and seize everything in sight.

  17. Kevin R. says:

What she’s saying is there is no such thing as individual achievement. She means to imply that achievement is a product of the collective and that individualism is a sham. Typical collectivist.

About a year ago Danny west neat, a columnist with the Seattle Times had a piece where he said very much the same thing and in no uncertain terms stated that the individualism that the Tea Party believes in simply isn’t real because achievement is the product of society as a whole (the piece was supposed to be a debunking of the Tea Party). The e-mail response from the Lefties that infest Seattle was huge and in complete agreement with him that individualism and individual achievement is a fiction.

That’s what collectivists believe. They cannot see past their collectivist mindset.

  18. Festivus says:

Where is this “social contract” she’s referring to? Is it the Constitution?

Also, these days, when new factories or large hotels are built, the company is more often than not on the hook for infrastructure improvements (roads, bridges, greenbelts, etc.) to accommodate new or increased traffic demands that will be generated by the facility.

Then they pay higher property, B&O and other taxes to boot.

So this argument that they are not paying their fair share is ridiculous.

As has been said, we all pay for these things because as a matter of public policy because it’s good to have industry that generates wealth for everyone in the community (think not only employees, but also the ancillary businesses that are created to support the new business and its employees).

  19. Lgbpop says:

What the hell does she mean, “the rest of us?” The entire population of Massachusetts except for the factory owner (and me, who left Worcester County because of fools like this)? The 53% of the population that actually pays taxes, since 47% pay none at all? Or the leftists who claim a piece of ownership of everything there already?

Warren isn’t her maiden name. Herring is. Probably the reason she goes by Warren is so she won’t be called, fittingly enough, a Red Herring. She’s a lawyer and a Harvard professor who’s never worked a real job one day in her entire life. In her eyes, that makes her plenty qualified to tell the rest of us how we should lead our lives. I’d check this gal’s taxes and domestic employees. Dollars to donuts you’ll find she hasn’t paid withholdings for her maids.

She needs a reality check. The low-income people she probably champions and probably claims to speak for

  20. Ghost of FA Hayek says:

    Kevin R
In that case Kevin, I could use the free labor.
Assuming you are from Washington state, if you were to bundle a few of these commies up, and ship them to me FOB, would they even be worth the shipping costs ?

  21. Lgbpop says:

this site needs an Edit button. Half of my last sentence was dropped! (Eat your heart out, O.J.!)

  22. Judith M. says:

Is this part of the idiot narrative that producers don’t pay as much in taxes as nonproducers? How many times does that claim have to be discredited before the Moonbats stop regurgitating it?

  23. Kevin R. says:

Ghost, if you promise them free health care and one hundred percent literacy they’ll worship you like a deity, live in pigsties, and do all the hard labor your plantation demands. Just look to Cuba for guidance on how to work your slaves.

  24. Son of Taz says:

    Just another Masshole.

All you need to know about this POS: she’s a Harvard law professor.

What more do you need to know? Harvard should be wrapped into the UN and both should banished from this country. Let them open offices and classrooms in Cuba. They love the commies so much; it would be a perfect place for them.

  25. bill says:

These idiot leftists seem to think entrepreneurs materialize out of thin air, or are dropped off by a UFO, and they just start taking advantage of an existing infrastructure. As for giving forward…just look at all the charitable foundations begun by those “evil dirty” business people.

  26. Kevin R. says:

If it weren’t for entrepreneurs, business, and private enterprise in the first place there wouldn’t be any wealth to finance the government. So I think all of these government pukes should pay higher prices at their supermarkets, auto dealers, and every other free enterprise establishment, as they owe their cushy little lives to the people that create the wealth that they need and yet contribute little to nothing to creating.

  27. David Waldman says:

    Condescending witch. PFFFFT.

  28. Ghost of FA Hayek says:

Mrs Warren has a “road” leading to the classroom where she indoctrinates that I paid for.
And it’s likely I subsidize her job.
So by HER logic, her time belongs to me.
I demand she come clean my toilet.

  29. Chunkdog says:

She’s a lunatic. I assume that the “marauding bands that would come and seize everything from your factory” is Obama, Holder and the DOJ.
Does that mean Gibson Guitars don’t have to pay it forward since they weren’t protected?

  30. Son of Taz says:

    @Ghost of FA Hayek
I demand she come clean my toilet.Ghost, maybe you missed my earlier comment: She’s a Harvard law professor. Clean a toilet? She wouldn’t know where to begin

  31. Joe Biden says:

Clean my toilet with your tongue, biotch.

She is the biggest phony I’ve ever seen. She can rub crotches with Rachel maddow as much as she wants, the good news is they can procreate.

  34. T says:

Another Obamite speaks out of their ass.

  35. Jimbo says:

She has inspired me. I’m, like, TOTALLY freaking inspired, man.

I have a sudden urge to go out and cut down all the big trees so the little trees can grow. POWER TO THE LITTLE TREES the big trees suck water!

I want to knock down all the big buildings so the people in little buildings will feel bigger. POWER TO THE LITTLE BUILDINGS where you may feel like a giant!

My gawd liberals are so stupid and insanely suicidal it is flat scary. Rick Perry should make video ad.

  36. ant says:

Does ‘marauading band of invaders’ apply to the Department of Justice too? And how many illegal foreign Nationals do you think she has a problem with using roads, schools, etc.? Liberals have no intellect, it’s all knee-JERK reactionism, no logic need apply. Let them expose their sheer stupidity and hypocrisy in full bloom, it’s a God-send to those just starting to pay attention.

  37. anon says:

What part of what she said isn’t true? Oh, poor idiots. Too locked up in your ideology to see plain facts, too stupid to free yourselves.

She’s not saying that everything is co-owned. She’s simply pointing out that there are public goods, and they must be paid for.

Unless you’re a utopian who believes privatization will fix everything. That’s even dumber….

  38. Jim says:

anon, You are a mindless idiot.

  39. anon says:

“anon, You are a mindless idiot.”

That’s great. In all seriousness, looking at the content of these “comments”, I must be the most intelligent person that’s visited MB.

I mean, Jesus, you couldn’t even answer one point in my post, probably because you’re a moron who understood little of it.

  40. Jimbo says:

Trolls are so… useless and stupid.

Somehow they expect truth to change if they keep questioning it – even though truth answers them time after time.

Trolls are so… useless and stupid.

You can’t debate stupid. Try debating a cockroach out of your house. What is so annoying about troll-idiots is that you try ignore them, but they keep invading your space. So eventually, they should be dealt with just as you would deal with a cockroach infestation.

  41. Ghost of FA Hayak says:

No stupid, she is in fact (on behalf of government) laying claim to what is mine.

Did she argue for a SPECIFIC amount ?
She did, however infer that I have no claim to any of my property.
“If I build a factory, good for me”, or is it if Mrs Warren lays claim to the fruits of my future labor ?
But how could I even plan to build that factory without ANY idea what portion of my profits can be claimed by Mrs Warren ?
You want to talk facts ?
How much is Mrs Warren’s “good chunk” ?
    C’mon out with it.
I need to know before I start construction.
You do not know, do you ?
    So tell me this.
Am I better off building in Taxachusetts ?
Or somewhere overseas, where that “good chunk” is defined, and my factory is viewed as good for EVERYONE.
    One more question.
Why does the “next kid who comes along” have a claim to my property ?
What the hell is to incentivize him to be productive ?
I once had a school teacher tell me EVERYTHING I earn in the future rightfully belongs to those who educated you. You would have earned nothing otherwise.
Yup sounded like slavery to me as well.

  42. Sam Adams says:

Marxists never have explained why I should build a factory in their area rather in another place where I can keep a bigger hunk of what I have earned.

I have yet to see a collective of workers get together and build one.

  43. Momster says:

The only marauding band coming in and taking everything is the government.

Only it doesn’t limit itself to the factory–it goes into the home and into every other aspect of our lives and marauds the living cr@p out of each and every one of us.

    Vose the b@$t@rds OUT!

  44. Momster says:

Or you can even VOTE them out! ooops

  45. Had it up to here :/ says:

Socialists / Marxists / Progressives – Deranged, demented and delerious all. They seem to forget that every thing they consume and litter up the streets with came from someone who actually manufactured it. Like that precious cellphone or i-pad or whatever. Even that moonbatcycle they pedal around on. I won’t get into the theories on how they procured it. Oh yeah, I almost forgot. They also think that grocery stores make meat.

  46. RUKiddingMe says:

“But how could I even plan to build that factory without ANY idea what portion of my profits can be claimed by Mrs Warren ?
You want to talk facts ?
How much is Mrs Warren’s “good chunk” ?”

I’m guessing that as a GOP voter, you are smiply not bright enough to Google “corporate tax rate” and … get the answer to your question.

How fucking stupid are you people? Deliberate ignorance is no way to live life. Be proud to represent the last people on earth who can’t Google the answers to rudimentary question. Show off your willful stupidity. Bask in your ‘dumbest American cohort’ status. And don’t forget to vote for an idiot, just like you.

  47. Marci says:

I think it’s hilarious that she thinks everyone else paid the price for the person to open the business. By mandate, everyone pays for it, even the business owner. But did the entire taxpaying public pay for the initial startup and risk, the equipment, the permits and fringe taxes? Nope. This nutcase is just another notch in the Progressive belt and I am not so sure she believes in what she says so much as she wants others to believe in it, it DOES after all afford her a life much better than what she would like mandated for you.

  48. Marci says:

RUKidding Me—do you have a stick up your ass? You didn’t do yourself ANY favors with that rant. All you can come up with is to tell people to google corporate tax rate? NO other argument, really? Why don’t you be a grown up and argue INSTEAD for why the government has a right to a large portion of those earnings, otherwise, you are no doubt, 100X stupider than than which you accuse anyone else of. We saw what you like to elect–I am assuming you voted for the disaster in the White House, am I correct? Again, if you want to argue for socialism, GO FOR IT, but your pedastal is currently made of milk crates and stolen ones at that. They crumble quickly and it didn’t take long with you.

  49. Ghost of FA Hayek says:

Don’t I have enough to worry about with my factory, trying to pay vendors, payroll, current taxes, and turn a profit without being tied to some “underlying social contract” for some undisclosed open ended amount to the next “kid who comes along” ?
Try entering all THAT into Google.
So I ask again. How much is Mrs Warren’s “good chunk” ?
