Starbucks Accused of Racism Again

Starbucks is in trouble again. Later this month, it will close all 8,000 stores so that employees can be trained on how obsequious they must act toward blacks who hang out without buying anything, after the liberal media inflated two black troublemakers getting kicked out into a civil rights incident. Hopefully, it is not too late to expand the syllabus. Baristas will need to be trained to be extra nice to anyone who looks Hispanic:

Starbucks is facing new accusations of racism after a Latino customer discovered a racial slur written on his coffee order.

A Latino man named Peter received a cold coffee drink labeled “BEANER.”

His friend Miguel Acosta explained:

“He went to Starbucks, and they asked for his name, and his name is ‘Peter,’ and they wrote this ‘beaner,’ Acosta told CBS2 News through a coworker who was translating. “And he’s saying that’s not fair.”

At least, not unless he receives a presumably massive settlement, like the troublemakers mentioned above. After all, Peter isn’t even a troublemaker, just a Person of Hispanicness whose name happens to sound like “Beaner” and who may have been the butt of a mild joke — unless the whole thing is a scam, possibly entailing a cut for the barista.

Starbucks has already started groveling:

“This is not indicative of the type of experience we want our customers to have when they walk into our stores. We have apologized to the customer directly and are working to make things right.”

Ka-ching! But no matter how big a jackpot Peter receives, this won’t help Starbucks pull out of its tailspin. Live by moonbattery, die by moonbattery.
