Suspension of 7-Year-Old for Eating Pop Tart So That It Looked Like a Gun Is Upheld

The authoritarian left’s anti-gun jihad has been in overdrive since the latest Muslim terror atrocity, which happened to involve firearms. Already whipped into a frenzy by the media, enemies of liberty must be delighted by a recent victory in Maryland. Remember the case of the 7-year-old who was suspended for eating his Pop Tart into the shape of a gun? After a long legal battle to get the suspension off his record, the punishment has been upheld:

In March of 2013, second grader Joshua Welch chewed his breakfast pastry into the shape of a gun and pretended to fire it. Park Elementary School suspended him for two days, leaving his parents outraged. …

After a three year battle, an Anne Arundel County circuit court judge has ruled the boy’s actions were disruptive and that a suspension was appropriate. …

Officials with Anne Arundel County Schools … released a statement, saying in part: “We have believed from the outset that the actions of the school staff were not only appropriate and consistent, but in the best interests of all students.”

The family’s attorney Robin Ficker plans to appeal, but in the current hoplophobic environment resulting from the media blaming gun rights for the carnage caused by Islam, prospects for clearing Josh’s name are not good.

But at least some good has come of the tragedy:

Inspired by Josh’s story, a state House panel in Florida passed legislation in 2014 that would bar school districts from suspending students for “brandishing a partially consumed pastry or other food item” bitten into the shape of a weapon or “possessing a toy firearm or weapon made of plastic snap-together building blocks.”

Any progress against progressivism is welcome.

Just imagine how severe the punishment would have been if he had taken apart a clock and put it into a case so it resembled a bomb . . . wait . . .

Anyone stupid enough to still send their kids to that school , or even live in that community, deserves what they get.

We need to start treating our elected representatives with extreme prejudice…in every Western nation.
Turn your backs on them whenever they have the hide to show their faces.
    Shun them in every way.
And if those measure do not suffice, then there is the Second Amendment in the U.S.A., and pitchforks, torches, tar and feathers for the rest of us.
