Taco Bell Customer Refused for Not Speaking Spanish

Those who fail to defend their country from foreign invasion have a responsibility to learn the language of their conquerors. A Taco Bell in the Hispanic colony of Hialeah, Florida demonstrated what happens to those who don’t when it refused to serve Alexandria Montgomery for not speaking Spanish.

Montgomery was even threatened with the police if she didn’t get her car out of the way of the presumably Spanish-speaking drivers behind her.

Under the glare of publicity, Taco Bell fired an employee and offered Montgomery a $100 gift card. This will not suffice for a person of pigmentation who knows how to be oppressed:

“A gift card is not gonna just solve the problem, it’s not gonna give me justice,” she said.

Better make that a $1,000 gift card.

Spanish is spoken by 93.12% of the population of Hialeah, which is the sixth largest city in Florida.

On tips from Steve T, 1-Bodhisattva, and Jester.
