Tea Party Banned From 4th of July Parade

Some possible good news from western Pennsylvania — thanks to continued pressure from patriotic citizens, a ban on the Erie Tea Party participating in the annual Millcreek Fourth of July parade may be reversed:

Millcreek resident Lou Aliota, a participant in the group, said it has been denied entry into the parade. The issue resurfaced Tuesday when Aliota asked some questions during the Millcreek supervisors’ meeting.

Bob MacIsaac, parade committee chairman, didn’t attend the meeting but said later that the volunteer committee is still weighing a decision.

MacIsaac said he initially responded that the parade does not allow political parties or candidates seeking election. But MacIsaac said members of the committee have talked, and they are reconsidering.

“They’re not registered as a political party, like Democrats or Republicans. So, there’s some gray area there, as to what they are,” he said.

That’s very broadminded, considering the radical nature of the Erie Tea Party:

Aliota said in an e-mail to Supervisor Joseph Kujawa that the tea party parade float honors the military and those who have died defending the country. The party distributes U.S. Constitution booklets and provides literature on the Founding Fathers and the group’s values and principles.

Meanwhile, overtly political militants pressing for the mainstreaming of homosexual depravity have had no problem getting permission to take part in this same parade. Local bureauweenies must find their agenda more compatible with Fourth of July festivities.

Too controversial for the Fourth of July?

On tips from Hillman and Lou.

They should get an old gasoline tanker truck and make it look like the one from ROAD WARRIOR and put the Manchurian Moonbats face on it with “$4.00/Gallon” signs all over it. Fill it with sand just like in the movie and have sand pour out of it saying over a loudspeaker this is Comrade Obama’s ultimate plan for America.

I don’t know. I mean…look at them. They look pretty dangerous to me.

Actually, I think Bob MacIsaac needs an enema, or something.

Maybe these Tea Party folks should try to understand the wonderchild a little better before passing judgment on him based solely on his actions and their outcome.

That is amazing, if you read down the article, it quotes a local politician telling a constituent to leave the township if he doesn’t like what is happening.

Obviously, the voters should know their place, and not stick their noses where it doesn’t belong! /sarc

  6. James McEnanly says:

I wouldn’t be surprised if they started using posters like these in officially sanctioned July 4 parades

It’s called Planet REAL WORLD. One that is very very far away from the one YOU people live on.

Yes, there is such a thing a homosexual depravity. You can GOOGLE it if you don’t believe me!

Time to move back to the United States.

  11. Jimbo says:

So: To the scum who run Mill Creek, Pennsylvania, American Independence Day is all about homosexuality and NOT about liberty.

Sounds like a town in the San Francisco Gay Area rather than a fly-over town. Freaking deadly liberal cancer is spreading far and wide. The only defense against cancer is to kill it.

The only good cancer is DEAD cancer. Same with communists. Go figure.

Yep, that’s what we founded a new country for alright… ass buggery and canyon yodelling. No doubt about it. Just look it up in the Founders’ writings. I’m sure it must be there.

  13. Dr. 9 says:

This is yet another example of We The People being seen, and treated, as sheep by irrelevant bureaucrats. Apparently, in PA. your “constitutionally protected right” to peacefully assemble (as in, march or protest) has been suspended by some local town nitwit.

The problem with Conservatives is that they are, well, too conservative. They lack the passion, energy, and fire shown by those on the Left. That’s one of the main reasons the Left always wins. Weakness will never win.

  14. Jimbo says:

    Dr. 9 –
I agree. I, myself, and me – all three of us – are guilty of forming a defensive rather than an offensive position towards apocalypse. But I’ve yet to decide if that is a weakness or an eventual strength. Maybe it’s my age. Maybe it’s the average age of a conservative in general that makes us defensive rather than offensive.
