Teacher Forbids Students From Wearing Cross in Class

If the people running education won’t let you discuss Christianity on campus, why would they even let you wear a cross?

A high school teacher in Tampa, Fla., has allegedly banned at least three students from wearing Christian cross necklaces, according to a letter sent to the superintendent of the school district.

Liberty Counsel, a nonprofit litigation group that promotes religious freedom, in a letter to Hillsborough County Public Schools Superintendent Jeff Eakins detailed math teacher Lora Jane Riedas’ actions.

Riedas justifies her action by characterizing the Holy Cross as a “gang symbol.” Similarly, educrats have justified silencing Christians by denouncing anything they might have to say as “fighting words.”

According to a student, Riedas considers wearing a cross in her classroom to be “disrespectful,” and therefore forbids it.

Unsurprisingly, Riedas allegedly uses the classroom to promote the unholy LGBT agenda, even decorating students’ classroom folders with rainbow propaganda stickers without their permission.

Riedas is also a member of GLSEN which champions LGBTQ issues in K-12 education.

Progressives are using their control of the major institutions to progressively eradicate Christianity, although history suggests that they will at worst succeed in driving it underground. That they would want to do this tells you all you need to know about their ideology.

I pray for the young parents that have their kids in the public schools these days. I also think that they should go all out to eliminate these cretins that hold the minds of the kids captive.

A very nasty rude awakening awaits those who hinder the spreading of the Gospel, or persecute those who believe in it.
They think they are right, but they are in for an unpleasant judgement and only then will they discover that they have been wrong all along.
