There Are Now More Armed Bureaucrats Than Marines

Democrat congresscritters recently finished making fools of themselves by staging an infantile sit-in to protest resistance to their incremental repeal of the Second Amendment. They feel strongly that law-abiding American citizens should be denied the right to bear arms. Meanwhile, this provides context:

There are now more non-military government employees who carry guns than there are U.S. Marines, according to a new report.

Open the Books, a taxpayer watchdog group, released a study Wednesday that finds domestic government agencies continue to grow their stockpiles of military-style weapons, as Democrats sat on the House floor calling for more restrictions on what guns American citizens can buy.

The “Militarization of America” report found civilian agencies spent $1.48 billion on guns, ammunition, and military-style equipment between 2006 and 2014. …

Open the Books found there are now over 200,000 non-military federal officers with arrest and firearm authority, surpassing the 182,100 personnel who are actively serving in the U.S. Marines Corps.

The IRS spent nearly $11 million on guns, ammunition, and military-style equipment for its 2,316 special agents. The tax collecting agency has billed taxpayers for pump-action and semi-automatic shotguns, semi-automatic Smith & Wesson M&P15s, and Heckler & Koch H&K 416 rifles, which can be loaded with 30-round magazines.

Under Obama, the IRS has become notoriously politicized and should be abolished as Ted Cruz proposed. The same could be said for the EPA, which destroys the enemies of the far left in the name of bogus enviro-Jacobin ideology.

The EPA spent $3.1 million on guns, ammo, and equipment, including drones, night vision, “camouflage and other deceptive equipment,” and body armor.

Here’s some more context for the sit-in. At least 26 of the participants own guns themselves:

Congressional Democrats ended their 25-hour sit-in on the House floor [Thursday] afternoon, failing to force a vote on two pieces of gun legislation. The controversial sit-in included 26 Democratic lawmakers who themselves own guns, Heat Street learned after examining 2013 USA Today data on congressional firearms ownership. The participants also included 12 more Democrats in Congress who either didn’t respond to USA Today’s gun survey or declined to say whether or not they possessed a firearm.

Even those congresscritters who don’t own guns are of course protected by men with guns. They say they deserve protection

New York Democratic Rep. Charlie Rangel says members of Congress “deserve” and “need” people with firearms protecting them in the U.S. Capitol building, but he does not want law-abiding residents in his own district to be armed for self-protection.

…but believe the citizens they live off of as parasites do not even deserve the natural right to protect themselves.

The congressional gun-grabber sit-in.

What makes you think those typists and water cooler patrols knows anything about which end the round discharges and what that noise is.

No one needs more than a taser and nightstick to defend a moonbat. Guns are so triggering…

If you listen to him, it was clear that his first word, “deserve,” was a slip he didn’t mean to let out. He quickly switched to “need,” but we know what the cockroach is thinking. Anyone who becomes that filthy rich without ever having done anything except “public service,” also seems to feel they deserve personal enrichment at other peoples’ expense. In a manner of speaking, he’s right of course, that those who keep electing him deserve any abuse they get. Speaking of, any new $20,000 designer pantsuits, Hilary?

  6. ScarletPimpernel says:

This is how Obama has created his national civilian security force.

  7. Troll Magnet says:

well i sure am glad we have 762×51 on our side 😛

  8. Mr. Freemarket says:

Owning a firearm (even a fully automatic one) doesn’t make you a marksman.

200,000 Armed Bureaucrats versus 60,000,000 armed US citizens.

    Good luck.

  9. Mr. Freemarket says:

Who knew that Hillary is using the design services of Tractor Supply Company, Equine Division.

  10. 762x51 says:

    Not on your side maggot.

I hope everyone else can see how pleased you are that your fascist government has these kinds of people with these weapons. As an official Trumpanzee fascist pussy, you show us all exactly who you are and what you stand for.

Meanwhile, I am very happy that you obsess constantly over me. Living rent free in that small but very empty skull is quite enjoyable. It’s just an added bonus that your obsession makes you look so weak and pathetic.

SO let’s hear about your latest IDPA victory. Were the rounds coming at you from those cardboard targets close enough to hear that odd buzzing sound they make as they whizz past your head? Oh wait, that is a sound only combat veterans know, not game shooters. LOLOLOL!

  11. 762x51 says:

Vets can’t wait to for them to bring that shit to the streets. They’re gonna need a wet clean up on aisle 3. Their main problem is that once the shooting starts, getting it stopped again will be nearly impossible.

  12. 762x51 says:

Even with a kill ratio of 10,000:1, they will still be about 40,000,000 short of winning. In Iraq, the military only managed to kill between 500,000 and 1,000,000 Iraqi’s in a ten year period. Due mostly to bad leadership, it should have been ten times that amount.

The real question is, will this government who hates Americans more than it hate jihadis, make war in a less restrained fashion against its own people than it did against a foreign enemy?

  13. 762x51 says:

That is surprising, I would have thought she would fall under the Porcine Division.

  14. 762x51 says:

This enemy government fields 2316 “agents” with those weapons, I hope they have enough body bags for all of them, plus a few extra because some of them may not be in one piece after all is said and done.

I’ve handled the HK416, that is one sweet ride, especially suppressed. Very effective as long as you can afford to feed it the M262 ammo.

  15. Mr. Freemarket says:

There are far more horse blankets available than pig blankets. Otherwise, you are entirely correct. You might also find her in the “varmint” section.

  16. Mr. Freemarket says:

The answer is “yes.” They have a visceral hatred for anything remotely conservative.

Of course the other problem is when the government forces start taking casualties. Replacements for front-line soldiers will be hard to find.

  17. Troll Magnet says:

Rent free in my head heh? Do you ever try to come up with something original, or do you always quote others and pretend it’s your original though? Rush Limbaugh much, shit stain? You “combat veteran” wanna be pathetic looser. Now go clean a 20mm Vulcan Cannon fuck face.

  18. Troll Magnet says:

Are you going to take them out all at once, or call out one at a time to a gun fight to the death, in a secluded location, where the authorities can’t confiscate your scary scary hardware, oh mighty commando?!

What a pathetic mental midget you are. Go play Counter Strike some more kid. This is a big boy forum. It’s late, get some sleep kid, just brush your teeth before bed time and make sure you pee pee… wouldn’t want you wetting your bed now would we?

  19. Gilligan says:

I will put armed private American citizens (not to mention active and retired military) up against the Feds any day and twice on Sunday. I’m willing to bet per-[gun owning]-capita true-blue Americans have immediate access to more weapons and ammunition than Obammy and his posse. Come and take.

  20. Smart Phone says:

But, we know who you are and where to find you … Before they find you.

  21. Troll Magnet says:

    Make my day!

  22. grayjohn says:

The Romper Room theme should have been playing on the PA the whole time.

  23. Ed. G. Mann says:

He can’t. His hands are all sticky with panty goo.

  24. Ed. G. Mann says:

The sit-in ended when the Depends became too soggy to continue.

  25. Troll Magnet says:

I know right! He’s the poster child of keyboard commandos! Pfft! Calling people out to a gun fight! What a loser!

  26. JeffersonSpinningInGrave says:

No no, government is just the things we do together.

  27. 762x51 says:

LOL, either way, it won’t be cardboard targets, peewee. Apparently, your tiny little mind isn’t even aware of the irony of a guy who thinks his competition shooting game is the same as combat then turns around and accuses someone who talks about their actual experiences with combat of playing a shooting game. Every time I think one of you turd eaters couldn’t get any more ludicrous, you raise the bar.

The reason for the remote location is so that no third party gets hurt and so that you cannot call for help once you realize how fucked you are.

Tell me jizz cheeks, do you prefer weapon mounted or helmet mounted NVD’s for shooting cardboard at night?

Still waiting for you to man up or shut up.

  28. 762x51 says:

From your wife’s panties. Sorry G Spot, she needed a real man, not a dried up old prick with the walking farts.

She does think you are a descent cook, must be all those Home Ec classes you took. You and Maggot need to get together, maybe he will team up with you for that 2:1 advantage you need to try and face me. He knows all about combat . . . . with cardboard.

What a pair of chicken shit assholes, LOL.

  29. 762x51 says:

Pushing a fascist agenda then being afraid to back it up is what a keyboard commando does, look in the mirror, douche nozzle. That would be you two chicken shit, ass suckers, plus Brony Tommy.

So prove I’m a keyboard commando, face me and kill me, if you can, otherwise, man up or shut up.

  30. 762x51 says:

Maybe spreading rat pellets around the White House will keep her out when tRump loses to her.

  31. 762x51 says:

Exactly right. Couple that with the fact that they cannot deploy “soldiers” from a given area to that same area and you have very large logistics headache. Getting a guy from Memphis to fire on people in Detroit is much easier than getting them to fire on their own neighborhood.

As I have observed before, they do not have the manpower to take and hold a landmass the size of the CONUS. Occupation is a completely different logistical problem than fire and maneuver. At best, they can take and hold the cities, which are already mostly Progressive anyway. They cannot force the farmers and ranchers to their will, they cannot station a rifle squad at every farm and ranch as they would run out of squads in Ohio and replacing them with a bunch of welfare recipients from the cities is a non-starter. They also cannot hope to hold open vast stretches of Interstate Highway for commerce between those cities.

It is 600 miles from Kansas City to Denver. There are approximately 425,000 members of the US Army today, plus another 600,000 armed federal agents so roughly 1,000,000 member fighting force.

The minimum lane width of a four lane, Interstate highway is 12 feet times two plus another 14 feet for shoulder equals 38 times 2 for each direction plus median which can run from several yards to several hundred yards in rural areas, say at least 100 yards wide on average. You would need a clear field of fire for at least 500 yds either side of that area or an area at least 1,100 yds wide, assuming you don’t plan to house, feed, supply and provide waste facilities for your troops. an area 3,300 feet wide by 5280 long yields an area of 17,424,000 sqft or .625 sqmi. times 600 miles. If you want CAS you can quadruple that area or 1,500 sqmi. If you want to have CAS AND bathrooms and supplies for your troops, it will take ten times the space or 15,000 sqmiles, an area larger than Maryland. The entire US Army might be able to do it and have enough forces left over for a decent QRF but there would be no leave, no rotation home, If the opposing force had indirect fire capabilities, which they would, you would need an area fifteen miles wide for each mile of road in order to avoid battle damage to the road surface. An area nearly the size of WV. This leaves the entire rest of the nation unoccupied.

And then there is the issue of the cities water supply which in most major cities is located outside the city limits. Easily disrupted or worse.

Of course a turd eating cockroach like Barack Obama doesn’t know these things so these facts will not stop him or the Progressives from trying to do it.

  32. Mr. Freemarket says:

Barack Obama occupies DC. He thinks that is enough.

  33. 762x51 says:

True, of course the EU occupies Brussels and they thought that was enough, then – BREXIT!

Only question there is, who’s next? The dominoes are about to fall. When the Euro collapses, the dollar goes with it.
