Tim Cook Champions Censorship

Big Tech is not backing away from its hostility toward the freedom of expression that has always been a bedrock American value. On the contrary, Apple CEO Tim Cook vehemently denounced it at an Anti-Defamation League conference yesterday:

At the conference, Cook accepted the ADL’s first “Courage Against Hate” award, geared towards private sector leaders “dedicated” to fighting bigotry.

Winning an award from the ADL for “fighting bigotry” is the ultimate achievement for an enemy of free speech.

Cook barks that “those who seek to push hate, division, and violence … have no place on our platforms.”

Like a lot of moonbattery, that may sound reasonable to the simple-minded. Hate, division, and violence are bad, right?

The problem is that these amorphous terms allow the left-wing ideologues who dominate Silicon Valley to suppress any thought they disagree with. Who determines what speech promotes hate and therefore must be suppressed? Tim Cook does.

Given Cook’s orientation, you can be sure that any criticism of the homosexual lifestyle, including any mention of the extremely negative health effects of homosexual behavior, is hateful.

The Bible explicitly and repeatedly condemns homosexuality in the strongest terms. Therefore, it promotes hate and must be suppressed.

“At Apple, we are not afraid to say that our values drive our curation decisions, and why should we be?” Cook said during the conference.

Maybe they should not be afraid — but we should, because the leftist “values” of Apple and Big Tech in general are depraved.

On a tip from ABC of the ANC.
