Trump Calls for Increasing National Debt

At least we know how Trump plans to finance his “infrastructure” pork spending spree, which he promised will be “at least double” the size of Hillary’s irresponsible proposals. Listen in horror as The Donald proclaims, “This is the time to borrow”:

The national debt is currently closing in on an almost incomprehensible $20 trillion. If the government does not stop wasting money it does not have while borrowing massively so as to waste still more, the economy will inevitably collapse. But in the aftermath of Trump’s hostile takeover of the GOP, neither party has the slightest inclination to address this crucial issue.

On a tip from Torcer.

Not to worry. The GOPee will see to it that Hillary wins.

“Trump Calls for Increasing National Debt” On a tip from Torcer.

Why is Dave Blount and Torcer attacking Trump again and not selling Evan McMullin? That would probably be because of their previous winners: Ted Cruz, Peyton Manning (joking), Brad Thor, Darrel Castle…

  3. Artfuldgr says:

Classic conservatives being soft and letting people down fit thirty five years equals hostile takeover…. At the rate we were going we would be a communist state with conservatives still saying give us losers anther try…

If the whining classics didn’t perform so bad for nearly half a century no one would have liked at Trump are all….. Look in the mirror… Technically your outperformed by Trump… Which should be a clue of how incompetent the classical conservatives have been

It to quote one of their own
There is no substitute for success

  4. Kevcar says:

Is that supposed to be your defense of T rump calling to increase the federal debt?

  5. Tchhht!!! says:

The GOPe is owned lock, stock, and barrel by Wall Street thru their lapdogs at USCoC. The Treehouse has a fascinating series of articles on this. Go there and search on GOPe roadmap.

Note to 762 x 51: This is way over your head so don’t even bother.

  6. KirklesWorth says:

Did I give the impression that I was defending Trump’s comments? I guess I will spell out my point – Dave Blount and Torcer in their long line of anti-Trump bashing (which suits Hillary just fine), have only recently posted a few mentions of Evan McMullin as their possible solution. So we will have to watch to see if McMullin can do anything more than split the vote.

  7. Mr. Freemarket says:

Is it Trump or the GOPee that are saying that Trump doesn’t actually need a ‘get out the vote” effort? Is it Trump or the GOPee that says that Trump doesn’t need money?

  8. Tchhht!!! says:

    Evan who?

  9. Mr. Freemarket says:

Isn’t it interesting how Wall Street contributes far more to Democrats than to Republicans?

  10. Mr. Freemarket says:

Classic conservatives, as you call them, haven’t had an actual conservative at the top of the ballot since 1984. We have been told repeatedly that actual conservatives can’t win, so we haven’t even given that a try since then.

  11. 762x51 says:

Fat chance with your room temperature IQ jackass.

Having demonstrating how frightened you are of me though, you had to try,

That where you get your “intel”? ConservativeTreehouse? LMAO. Maybe your boyfriend wrinkledick can fill the gaps for you with what he gets from Infowars.

The two of you together are barely able to convert O2 to CO2. If you were any more stupid, we would have water you twice a week.

    Eat shit, coward.

  12. 762x51 says:

With all the help Trumpanzee assholes like you and your boyfriend wrinkledick are giving Hillary, how could she lose. You are doing an excellent job of eliciting anti-tRump hatred, every time you open your sperm receptacle.

    Trumpanzee coward.

  13. 762x51 says:

Increase the National Debt. How very PROGRESSIVE of “the Donald”.

    Big shock.

  14. KirklesWorth says:

Ronald Reagan wasn’t much of a conservative on paper either.

  15. Tchhht!!! says:

Says the guy who is in the employ of progressives.

  16. Tchhht!!! says:

Absolutely. Hillary wasn’t paid $100ks in speaking fees to tell Goldman Sucks that she would shut them down. They’re all in it together.

  17. Kevcar says:

Evan has a lot to offer but I’m afraid it’s awfully late in the game to join. It would take extraordinary efforts on the part of we the citizens to get him the funding required to be a true contender. I just don’t have the confidence in self described conservatives as I did a year ago, and that saddens me greatly. I always assumed “we” were the intelligent, logic and fact based citizens but after watching things unfold over the last 11 months, I no longer believe that.

  18. KirklesWorth says:

Do you believe we can and should defeat Hillary?

  19. MicahStone says:

–bet I can guess where that money would wind up with President Trump !!!!

  20. Tchhht!!! says:

  23. KirklesWorth says:

    Too funny!

  24. Stosh says:

I am shocked that a lifetime NY liberal progressive like “the Donald” wouldn’t just empty their personal bank accounts and immediately pay off the national debt…

  25. TrojanMan says:

But Trump would be better than Reagan?

  26. KirklesWorth says:

Ridiculous. Trump would be better than Hillary.

  27. TrojanMan says:

It was called a question. Would Trump be more conservative than Reagan?

  28. KirklesWorth says:

And I answered your question, which I am answering the same way as your last question – ridiculous. Trump would be more conservative than Hillary.

  29. TrojanMan says:

Ug non answer. It is a simple yes or no. Would Trump be more conservative than Reagan?

  30. KirklesWorth says:

Are you dim? It is ridiculous to think that Trump would be as conservative as Reagan. ri·dic·u·lous adjective – deserving or inviting derision or mockery; absurd.

  31. TrojanMan says:

So if you think Reagan was more conservative than Trump yet call Reagan “not much of a conservative on paper”. What would that make Trump? Could you say that Trump is not conservative at all?

  32. KirklesWorth says:

Current indicators are Trump is 50% conservative.

Reagan raised taxes, increased the deficit, unemployment went up to 10.8%, grew the government, gave amnesty, gave Iran weapons, do you need more?

  33. Bob says:

    Still better than Hillary. @Soreloserparty

  34. TrojanMan says:

“Why is Dave Blount and Torcer attacking Trump again and not selling Evan McMullin?” Because this is Dave’s site and he can do with it what he wishes. If this bothers you may go to other sites with which posts articles you agree with.

  35. TrojanMan says:

“Reagan raised taxes, increased the deficit, unemployment went up to 10.8%, grew the government, gave amnesty, gave Iran weapons, do you need more?”

And yet you still consider Reagan more conservative.

Wait I thought it was 66%? His conservative numbers going down. Wait let me show you my shocked face :0

  36. KirklesWorth says:

Fair analysis. You are correct about what I had said.

What should we do to defeat Hillary?

  37. KirklesWorth says:

Thanks for stating the obvious. As I am free to ask why they are attacking Trump and helping Hillary. Isn’t free speech great?

  38. TrojanMan says:

That’s too late. She was elected the moment Trump won the nomination which is why I have always told you that it does not matter who you vote for.

May I ask what state you live in?

  39. KirklesWorth says:

    I am in the midwest.

Well, you see you say it’s “too late” but for some reason you continue your attack on Trump. Why is that? To fulfill your prediction that Hillary will be president? Not even brave enough to try and get a 50% conservative elected?

  40. TrojanMan says:

To show people he is no conservative but really a liberal.

The point in asking you what state you live is there are only a small number of states in play. If you live in my former state of Illinois your Trump vote is absolutely irrelevant. If you live in my current state of Texas your Trump vote is also irrelevant. Your efforts should be placed in convincing people in those swing states that they need to vote Trump.

For the record even if I lived in a swing state I would not vote Trimp.

  41. KirklesWorth says:

“To show people he is no conservative but really a liberal.” To what end? What’s the point? Vengeance? Punishment? You prefer a 100% liberal to a 50% liberal? I fail to see why you’d give up 50% conservative values to get a 100% progressive-liberal-socialist criminal and her syndicate…?

  42. TrojanMan says:

    “Not even brave enough”

See you have no concept of civil debate. I regrettably sank to your level once. But you have a habit as coming off as a douchebag. Perhaps leave off the insults….

    Good day

  43. TrojanMan says:

    “You prefer a 100% liberal to a 50% liberal”

I prefer no liberal which is why I am not voting for either one.

Nap time, you may have the last word.

  44. KirklesWorth says:

What thin skin. Just looking for an excuse to get out of the debate? How would you describe somebody afraid to elect a 1/2 liberal 1/2 conservative instead of a 100% progressive-liberal-socialist criminal and her syndicate? Not brave enough to defend your bravery? You seem brave enough to attack the republican candidate.

  45. KirklesWorth says:

Yes, we are well aware that you would enable a progressive-liberal-socialist criminal and her syndicate to get elected instead of an “unclean” republican in order to punish us all for a non-conservative candidate.

  46. Dr. John Charles says:

David Blount, as a #Never Trump hack hell bent on distorting Trump’s positions it’s beginning to nag me why a so called conservative like you all of a sudden takes Marxist Democrat point of view. What part of an economic growth strategy don’t you get? Are you so indoctrinated to the Marxist tax and redistribute that you actually taken the possibility of economic growth beyond 1.4%? A an economic growth of a modest 4% the entire $20T national debt goes to ZERO in ten years. While I’m on the subject, please help me understand you logic if there is any as to why, as a conservative you have a problem with Trump. Of all the thinks Trump is planning to do listed below, just what specifically do you hate? Then compare you list with Hillary Clinton’s plan:

    Defeat ISIS
    Enforcement of immigration laws
Seal the borders, including a wall/barrier
    Repeal and replace Obamacare
    Appoint Constitutional Supreme Court judges,
Reduce personal income taxes for all
    Protect 2nd Amendment rights
    Vet immigrants from terrorist countries
Balance the deficit through fair trade deals
Reduce the $20T debt through economic growth
Bring back middle class jobs from foreign countries
Reduce the corporate tax for domestic investment
    Repeal the death tax
Repeal the Johnson Amendment against religious speech
Restore respect for the law and order
    Rebuild our military strength
Modernize NATO and share the cost
    Defund Planned Parenthood
Increase benefits and care for the Veterans
Repeal Common Core push local education
    Create school choice/vouchers
    Eliminate sanctuary cities for illegals
    End political corruption and pay-offs
And I hope disqualify Judges who are members of La Raza

  47. KirklesWorth says:

This one’s a keeper! The anti-Trump Hillary-enablers are all about punishing us all for a non-conservative candidate. “Either my candidate or Hillary” would be extortion if the conservatives’ candidate hadn’t already failed.

  48. Dr. John Charles says:

    Whoa! of the meds again?

  49. Dr. John Charles says:

I am curious, of Trump’s agenda what on the list do you see as “liberal” as compared to Hillary Clinton?
    · Enforcement of immigration laws
    · Defeat ISIS
    · Seal the borders, including a wall/barrier
    · Repeal and replace Obamacare

  50. KirklesWorth says:

Don’t worry…that is just somebody imitating someone else who frequents here. You’ll find out about it soon enough, unfortunately.

  51. Dr. John Charles says:

I agree. He was another one that espoused beautiful Conservative principles but remember he gave illegals amnesty and of course gave us the liberal Supreme Court justice Anthony Kennedy as in Gay Marriage rights.

  52. Dr. John Charles says:

If Trump is elected and can implement his agenda he will be way better than Reagan.

    · Enforcement of immigration laws
    · Defeat ISIS
    · Seal the borders, including a wall/barrier
    · Repeal and replace Obamacare

  53. KirklesWorth says:

Now that I’ve looked it over, Trump is closer to Reagan than I previously believed. Some of the things Reagan did would have conservatives in an uproar just like they are now.

  54. Tchhht!!! says:

Are you trying to make a point?

  55. Tchhht!!! says:

Yeah, just wait till he starts with the death threats.

  56. Tchhht!!! says:

Kirk, I gotta give you an A+ for persistence and glutton for punishment.

  57. KirklesWorth says:

Thanks. It’s good to have you in the trenches.

  58. Tchhht!!! says:

    You are welcome.

  59. Daniel says:

You’re right about that. Trump’s goals are not and CAN NOT be to fix things in a single term or even two. We have a huge range of problems that mere conservatism cannot fix. We have a culture to restore and one which has been under “fundamental transformation” for more than four decades. We’ve got a LOT of work to do and the first two things to address are:

    1. Cultural Marxist PC culture — it has to be tarred, feathered and chased out of the nation nude and ashamed. It should be on full display for all to see that THIS Trump election represents full departure from this culture of fear and intimidation.

    2. Return our economy from the “money gamers” to the industrial giants. The re-instatement of the Glass-Stegal act should have been the response to the more recent financial crises and yet it did not happen. Trump will push for that correction.

When the culture is fixed and the economy is fixed, all other things will be easier.

This site’s operator is PRECISELY the people Andrew Breitbart was warning us against. More than shame on him, he’s on the other side.

  60. 762x51 says:

Yep, shocked alright. You forgot the sarc /off switch, though.

With elitist Progressives like tRump, it is always important to remember they are “do as I say, not as I do”.

Laws are for the little people which is why they always exempt themselves from those laws.

  61. 762x51 says:

Copy and paste from some campaign website is not research or intelligence. Believing the words of a politician is retarded.

When judged by his actions, tRump is all Progressive, all the time. History can only be ignored, not changed.

  62. 762x51 says:

Living in your fantasy world is cheap and easy especially since you haven’t the balls to face me and test your claims.

    Nutless fucking coward.

  63. kirklesworthTheGayBitch says:

You two have a great weekend rubbing wieners, gay bitches.

  64. 762x51 says:

You should stop bad mouthing your Progressive boss Peashooter. It is never wise to bite the hand that feeds you. You might realize that if you would just stay on your Thorazine.

  67. Artfuldgr says:

Not to mention Reagan was also a dem before Republican
Both have the same degree but from different college’s
But we’re TV personalities, but Reagan co starred with a chimp
    On and on

  68. Tchhht!!! says:

So you had suction lock on Teddy boy’s keester but you don’t believe in politicians? Your comments indicate that you would like to execute a Mussolini style takeover of the government by force. You would then install yourself as El Presidente and anyone who dissents would be murdered. I believe that is called a dictatorship.

  69. Kevcar says:

However Reagan was a conservative for over 20 years where as t rump was a New York liberal in 2015 before he “saw the light”. That was how a t rump supporter explained trumps conversion to me. Oh for a nerf bat when you need one!

  70. Kevcar says:

Normally yes however we have now been faced with a lose lose choice. Looking at trumps history (not the last 18 months), I don’t see much difference between the two. Hillary is a thief etc but t rump has shown himself to be at least partially mentally unstable. I’m truly concerned about his finger on the nuclear button. Some ruler will insult him and he will lose it and throw a trumpertantrum. He has proven himself to become absolutely unhinged over any perceived slight or disrespect. Our only hope is dual lightening strikes on Hillary and Trump leaving the two VPS as choices (both of which are better than the main choices). It’s a sad state of affairs. In my state it won’t matter anyway, I have shitcago and the dead always vote democrat – they are consistent like that.

  71. KirklesWorth says:

I fail to see the moral equivalency with Trump and a progressive-liberal-socialist criminal and her syndicate.

  72. 762x51 says:

What in the exact fuck are you babbling about, idiot? Sounds like across between projection and fantasy.

Every lump of verbal feces that oozes from that sperm receptacle on your face, passes through your fascism filter. Only you Progressive assholes think like that. “Install myself as El Presidente”? I defy you to find where I ever even remotely suggested such a thing. What I HAVE SAID, REPEATEDLY, is that this government, which does not follow the Constitution, needs to be removed and replaced with one that DOES follow the Constitution.

You fascist assholes pledge allegiance to an individual, which is why you always have a cult of personalty surrounding your fearless leader. My oath is to support and defend the Constitution from all enemies, foreign and domestic. I have already defended it from the foreign enemies, now it’s time to defend it against you domestic enemies. You don’t like it, go fuck yourself.

Look, you have already demonstrated what a sniveling pussy you are. You should quite while you are behind and avoid further embarrassment. You don’t have what it takes to play this game with me,much less the shooting game. Now, run away little boy, again.

  73. bobdog19006 says:

It was a fair question, seems to me.

    Answer the man.

  74. bobdog19006 says:

Hillary Clinton thanks your for your generous support.

  75. 762x51 says:

I did answer him. He copies and pastes campaign promises, most of which tRump cannot keep Constitutionally because he isn’t running for dictator, except in his own mind and the weak minds of his followers. Furthermore ALL of tRump’s actions for the preceding half century were the opposite of those empty campaign promises. Idiots judge a politician on their words, intelligence judges them on their actions.

Example, tRump is supposedly the great wall builder, yet his financial backing for the Gang Of Eight less than three years ago is diametrically opposed to that position. So which is it? His words sound great but when it was time to put his money where his mouth is, he went the other direction. NO ONE puts their own money into projects, positions or causes that they do not believe in.

Now, go ahead and deny the facts and shoot the messenger, it is all you Trumpanzee vermin can do and is the limit of your political acumen.

  76. 762x51 says:

Weird, she should be thanking the imbeciles who put up the only person in the country who is a bigger asshole than her to run against her. That’s what higher negatives means, it means he is a bigger asshole that Hillary. You want to see a Hillary supporter, look in the mirror, moron.

  77. KirklesWorth says:

Looks like you score another point for Hillary!

The one and only thing you have accomplished here is to increase reader animosity towards tRump and further ensure the election of Hillary Clinton. http://moonbattery.com/?p=75114#comment-2834946563

  78. 762x51 says:

SO you are saying you have no idea who I am employed by which means that this is another lie. It really is all you Progressive swine have.

Still looking to shove that Mossberg up your ass, pussy.

  79. KirklesWorth says:

No need to look at any other Hillary supporters – you’re the biggest one here.

WOW, I really got you that time.

“My oath is to support and defend the Constitution from all enemies, foreign and domestic.”

Well, what’s holding you back Peashooter. All I see you doing is hanging around here handing out death threats and insults to people who are simply engaging in constitutionally protected political discourse. Where’s your intestinal fortitude? Why don’t you slip on your ASSault gear and charge right up to the capitol and tell them it’s over.

The problem with you is that you don’t use your head. You made charges against me that are completely false because you let your infantile emotions get the best of
you. I completely support anyone willing to put on the uniform and fight to protect the Constitution. THAT INCLUDES YOU. I have had family member in the service and I lost friends in the Viet Nam war so I have an understanding of what it take to make that commitment. My wife and I have gone out of our way over the years to be kind and helpful to folks in uniform when all the proglodyte assholes around here were spitting on them. When I read your drivel I am tempted to wonder whether I did the right thing. If you don’t like it you can KISS MY ROSETTE.

  81. 762x51 says:

ROTFLMAO!! Is that all you have wrinkledick?

Readers here can make up their own minds which one of us has “enabled” Hillary. You who everyday comes here to try and force everyone to vote for a Hillary lite fascist or I who has hammered on Hillary Clinton here for YEARS, long before tRump was even a Republican.

Heeeeyyy, wait a minute!?!? I thought you were blocking me? Were you lying about THAT as well? LMFAO!!!

  85. 762x51 says:

See, that is why I no longer engage wrinkledick in debate or any other Progressive for that matter. Fascists like wrinkledick, Tshittttt!!?!? et al., demand we obey their master or they will hound us relentlessly. I will not comply. that leaves only war between us. Unfortunately, they are such cowards they will not engage in battle so we are left with their daily whining.

  86. KirklesWorth says:

You sure know a lot about enemies, since the imaginary ones in your paranoid “brain” seem to elude you, you’ll just alienate people on Disqus and threaten to kill them. I would have thought you offed yourself by now for attacking Trump and helping Hillary – or was this a lie you posted:

    Obsess much, wrinkledick?

I appreciate the credit for pointing out how your perpetual sniveling and harassment has helped Hillary immeasurable, and I appreciate “living rent free in your head” as others have observed. That one post seems to have really hit a nerve, I hope it hurts everyday.

Your idiotic desire for me to “off myself” really isn’t an option. If you knew anything about me you would realize that, but all you know is your conformity requirement to your cult ideology. I have alienated people, only you, your boyfriend Tshiiittt?!!!!> , Brony Tom maybe one or two others. You are people, you are targets awaiting engagement in the civil war you are starting. I don’t give a shit about Disqus, you , your cult or its leader.

This quote from you pretty much says it all, “I would have thought you offed yourself by now for attacking Trump”. Yep, if you are a tRump true believer you should just “off yourself”. The fascism drips from that one, coward. Too bad a pussy like you can’t back it up. Of course, neither can your pussy boyfriend, Tshiiitt!??!.

You would know a death threat from a run in your pantyhose. You had friends killed in Vietnam, what stopped you from going? Oh right, cowardice.

Your fascism isn’t Constitutionally protected “political discourse” asshole. You can harbor all the stupid opinions you want but forcing them on others is not a Constitutional right. You douchebags aren’t welcome here, or did that fact escape you?

You are such a lying sack of Tshiiitttt!!!>??!?, you couldn’t tell the truth if it was holding your empty nut sac in its teeth. “death threats”, go fuck yourself, you lying pussy.

Get your “rosette” ready for that Mossberg and meet me, you whining little prick. I’m sure your wife realizes what a little pussy she is married too but is afraid to say anything because beating up girls is about all you can handle.

  91. 762x51 says:

Failed Reading Comprehension again huh, wrinkeldick?

Good to know you aren’t really blocking me, another lie by JerklesWorthless the professional liar and fascist.

    Fucking useless coward.

  92. 762x51 says:

Yes, but you fail at everything you do, except drive support away from your candidate by being such an obnoxious little asshole.

  93. Randall says:

Blount is a lost cause. Who will he vote for??? Or will he stay home? He is dedicated to putting Hillary in office.

  94. Randall says:

Don’t believe Blount. He is unhinged.

  95. Mr. Freemarket says:

You mean other than governing California as a conservative for eight years?

  96. Mr. Freemarket says:

    Did you fail reading comprehension?

  97. KirklesWorth says:

Did you conveniently forget that Ronald Reagan:

    Nearly tripled the deficit
Gave amnesty to 3 million illegal immigrants
Raised the debt ceiling 18 times
Expanded gun sale background checks and an assault weapon ban
Signed at least 5 tax increases (Alan Simpson says 11 times)
Increased the Social Security tax rate
    Unemployment reached 10.8%
    Appointed liberal justice Anthony Kennedy
    Had “issues” with Israel
Bailed out Social Security for $165 billion
Was a union leader in the Screen Actors Guild
Negotiated with and armed terrorists in the Iran-Contra Affair

  98. KirklesWorth says:

That’s what we keep saying, but they irrationally claim that helping Trump will get Hillary elected…? “Conservatives” want to “punish” Trump and his supporters (and everyone else) for not making Ted Cruz the republican candidate. It’s no wonder “conservatives” never have a real candidate – they can’t play nice even with their own people – just like Ted Cruz demonstrated.

  99. KirklesWorth says:

Mr. Freemarket’s point is that Hillary will be president, and that he won’t be disappointed about it.

  100. Randall says:

Cruz had his questionable movements like that claim about Ben Carson dropping out. And contrary to MSM claims Cruz’s side started that wife kerfluffle, not Trump. Besides, Trump got his message out. Where in the hell was Cruz?? Then Cruz shows up at convention and does not endorse Trump. And Kasich? Of course I never expected those lousy Bushes to show up. Anyway, I agree with you. The ONLY move is to vote for Trump.

  101. Randall says:

You are describing Obama and Hillary, not Trump.

  102. Randall says:

    Right.

  103. Randall says:

I highly recommend this site as an alternative to all the nevertrump sites:
    https://intellectualfroglegs.com/
You just have to wait for the next episode….

  104. Mr. Freemarket says:

All right. The last actual conservative we had as president was Calvin Coolidge.
Reagan only had a couple of problems. He had a democrat controlled legislature, plus he was fighting a war with the Soviet Union. But he did substantially lower the top income tax rate.

  105. KirklesWorth says:

    Yeah, that guy is great!

  106. KirklesWorth says:

So, Reagan gets a pass for having to make do with what he had but Trump is summarily dismissed before even being elected? Sounds like selective indignation to me.

  107. Randall says:

That man is eclectic as they come. Plus the music is great.

  108. Tchhht!!! says:

Hell, the entire GOPee will be elated since that’s what they’ve been pushing right from the beginning. Jeb or Hillary. The outcome is the same. Wall Street wins. Then Trump tossed a monkey wrench into the deal. Now they’re terrified because they don’t know if he can be controlled.

  109. Mr. Freemarket says:

Reagan didn’t promise to raise taxes before he was elected.

  110. KirklesWorth says:

LOL…what speaks louder – actions or words?

  111. Mr. Freemarket says:

He decreased top tax rates from 75% to about 25%.

  112. KirklesWorth says:

You don’t have to defend Reagan’s conservative creds…my point is that Reagan looks close to Trump on paper.

  113. Mr. Freemarket says:

    Lemme see….
Reagan had a political record of governing as a conservative.
Reagan clearly explained why he left the democrats and became a Republican.
I believe Reagan actually knew where his local church was located.
    And, as to business practices….
yeah, they are almost the same.

  114. KirklesWorth says:

Fine, I’ll post my (bigger) list again of what Reagan did since you apparently have selective indignation:

    Nearly tripled the deficit
Gave amnesty to 3 million illegal immigrants
Raised the debt ceiling 18 times
Expanded gun sale background checks and an assault weapon ban
Signed at least 5 tax increases (Alan Simpson says 11 times)
Increased the Social Security tax rate
    Unemployment reached 10.8%
    Appointed liberal justice Anthony Kennedy
    Had “issues” with Israel
Bailed out Social Security for $165 billion
Was a union leader in the Screen Actors Guild
Negotiated with and armed terrorists in the Iran-Contra Affair

  115. KirklesWorth says:

Nope. It’s all very clear now.

  116. Mr. Freemarket says:

And you still insist that Trump is close to Reagan on paper?

  117. Mr. Freemarket says:

Clear that Trump is making a mediocre effort to get elected.

  118. KirklesWorth says:

You are right, in some ways, Trump is more conservative than Reagan.

  119. KirklesWorth says:

You mean by not prostrating himself to so-called “conservatives” – I could see that you would view it that way.

  120. Mr. Freemarket says:

Mediocre effort fundraising, mediocre effort assembling a campaign staff, mediocre effort with any get-out-the-vote program, no effort to unify the party.

  121. KirklesWorth says:

Maybe so. Who has run a perfect campaign? He got nominated and the election is still over two months away. Maybe he’s waiting to see the fallout of Hillary’s scandals and whether her health is going to be an issue…?

  122. Mr. Freemarket says:

That is playing defense. Generally a better offence is better than a good defense.

  123. KirklesWorth says:

That’s good armchair quarterbacking. Nevertheless, Trump gets plenty of press at the moment and can afford to wait several weeks before firing up the campaign.

  124. Mr. Freemarket says:

How many friends is Trump currently making through the press he is receiving?

While the press supported him in the primaries, that is no longer the case.

  125. KirklesWorth says:

I give up Mr. Fudd, how many friends is Trump currently making through the press he is receiving?

Oh yes, the press “supported” him plenty in the primaries – but at least you acknowledge they aren’t his friend.

  126. KirklesWorth says:

“Mediocre” with two months before the election. The party bailed on Trump first – why didn’t they do the unifying?

  127. Mr. Freemarket says:

The party hated Trump. The party hated Cruz for different reasons but they still hated him. Now that Trump is the party nominee he could work with the party towards party unity or he can take the position that party unity isn’t necessary to win.
If Trump goes down to defeat, we can speculate on who will be blamed. But at the end of the day it’s on Trump. He is the standard bearer.

  128. Mr. Freemarket says:

The Press was friendly to Trump during the primary season, and his supporters saw this as a reason he didn’t need to engage in fundraising. This is because the press believe that Trump was easier to defeat then other candidates. The press always favors the left.

  129. KirklesWorth says:

It’s not only on Trump and those who knew he was better than Hillary but did nothing.

  130. KirklesWorth says:

Yep…and Moonbattery’s anti-Trump rhetoric sounds just like the left-wing press. Coincidence?

  131. Mr. Freemarket says:

Those that believe the Trump is better than Hillary should vote for him. Trouble as many people are not convinced that he is that much better than Hillary

  132. KirklesWorth says:

That’s the exact problem – conservative ideology blinding pragmatism. It’s all quite clear to some of us how much worse Hillary can be – and it’s not just in theory, it is documented.

  133. Mr. Freemarket says:

Moon battery is a consistently anti-progressive site. It opposes anything that is progressive, from whichever side that progressive agenda is coming. I would note that the first progressive that shut our country on this disastrous road was teddy Roosevelt.
If you are a progressive, moon battery opposes you. If you are not a progressive, bone battery support you. It’s a simple as that

  134. KirklesWorth says:

Uh huh. So what does Moonbattery recommend as the course of action after defeating Donald Trump?

  135. Mr. Freemarket says:

The road to hell is laid with pragmatism. What is the big problem we have with Paul Ryan in Congress? Answer: he is being pragmatic with the budget, finding everything that Obama wants .
Is shutting down the government preferable to funding Obamacare and Fontaine the illegal immigration into our country? I believe it is. That’s why I am not pragmatic.

  136. Mr. Freemarket says:

It’s a lot like posing the question who do you prefer Hitler or Stalin?
So we are left with a poor choice, and a very bad choice.

  137. KirklesWorth says:

Sorry, but anything that ends up with a Hillary presidency is completely anti-pragmatic, anti-liberty, anti-freedom, anti-conservative, anti-just-about-everything.

  138. KirklesWorth says:

Unfortunately life is like that. Take the blue pill or take the red pill. We’ll be going down the rabbit hole either way.

  139. Mr. Freemarket says:

One can choose to take neither pill.

  140. KirklesWorth says:

Thus my comment “We’ll be going down the rabbit hole either way.”

  141. Mr. Freemarket says:

And I thank Trump supporters for that.

  142. KirklesWorth says:

Why not thank Ted Cruz and his supporters? And we will thank anti-Trumpers if Hillary becomes president.

  143. Mr. Freemarket says:

Don’t forget to thank John Kasetch for providing.a path for Trump for the nomination
