Under Obama, USA Drops to 18th Place in Economic Freedom Ranking

Our historic president has reached another historic milestone. America — once the world’s beacon of liberty — has dropped to an appalling 18th place in the ranking of economic freedom:

The annual Economic Freedom of the World report, released Tuesday, has Canada tied in fifth place with Australia — up one spot from last year. Hong Kong remains at the top, Singapore’s next, then New Zealand.

Meanwhile, the United States, once a “standard bearer” of economic liberty among industrial nations, spiralled 10 spots from the 2011 rankings to 18th place — its lowest position ever, and a huge drop from its second place spot in 2000.

As history has taught us repeatedly, without economic freedom, there is no sustainable freedom, because the population is at the mercy of the government. There is also no wealth, which is why Americans’ wealth contracted by a catastrophic 40% in just three years under the government-bloating statists Bush II and Obama.

Without economic freedom, there is no future. But at least we have lots of Hope & Change.

Our economic path under progressive statists.

Under a Democrat-controlled Presidency from ’08 to the present, and a Democrat-controlled House from ’07 to ’10, and a Deomcrat-controlled Senate from ’07 to the present.

With enslavement as their endgame, liberals are making great progress but still have a ways to go. Unfortunately for them, the shooting will start long before they reach their goal of supreme power over the American people.

Clean up America, kill a liberal.

As Alexis de Tocqueville stated SO clearly:

“A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits from the public treasury with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy, always followed by a dictatorship. The average age of the world’s greatest civilizations has been 200 years.”

If Obama is reelected, can that Socialist/Marxist dictatorship be far behind? Remember the Weimar Republic?

For DECADES we tried a little socialism, a little more socialism and then even MORE socialism.

The regressives say that’s because it “wasn’t PURE socialism”.

Well regressive @$$#01e$, what country EVER HAD “pure” socialism? If there ever was one, how come it’s not around today, being the world’s leading example of success, happiness and inovation?
