USA Effectively Goes to War in Alliance With Al Qaeda

The unthinkable is official: the United States government is allied with Al Qaeda.

The Obama administration has concluded that Syrian President Bashar Assad’s government used chemical weapons against the rebels seeking to overthrow him and, in a major policy shift, President Obama has decided to supply military support to the rebels, the White House announced Thursday.

“The president has made a decision about providing more support to the opposition that will involve providing direct support to the [Supreme Military Council]. That includes military support,” Deputy National Security Adviser for Strategic Communication Ben Rhodes told reporters.

Funny, Saddam Hussein’s use of chemical weapons on his own people didn’t influence Obama to favor military intervention.

The cost of our military support, until it inevitably rockets upward, will be about $50 million a day. That’s fine, taxpayers have plenty of money. Some people are still working. When we run out, Big Government can print some more.

A little background on our Syrian comrades in arms:

A Syrian rebel group’s April pledge of allegiance to al-Qaeda’s replacement for Osama bin Laden suggests that the terrorist group’s influence is not waning and that it may take a greater role in the Western-backed fight to topple Syrian President Bashar Assad.

The pledge of allegiance by Syrian Jabhat al Nusra Front chief Abou Mohamad al-Joulani to al-Qaeda leader Sheik Ayman al-Zawahri was coupled with an announcement by the al-Qaeda affiliate in Iraq, the Islamic State of Iraq, that it would work with al Nusra as well.

Lebanese Sheik Omar Bakri, a Salafist who says states must be governed by Muslim religious law, says al-Qaeda has assisted al Nusra for some time.

On September 11, 2001, as New Yorkers covered in white dust that consisted in part of the bones of their former coworkers shambled north from lower Manhattan like an army of zombies, was there anyone cynical enough to believe that hardly more than a decade later our government would be allied with those responsible in a war that does not in any way advance American interests?

More background on our allies:

Members of an al Qaeda-linked Islamist group in the northern Syrian city of Aleppo executed a 15-year-old boy in front of his parents on Sunday as punishment for what the group regarded as a heretical comment, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said. …

A photo released by the Observatory showed [Mohammad] Qataa’s face with his mouth and jaw bloodied and destroyed, as well as a bullet wound in his neck.

Here is the photo, if you have the belly for it.

The Observatory, which based its report on witness accounts of the killing, said Qataa, who was a street vendor selling coffee in the working-class Shaar neighborhood, had been arguing with someone when he was overheard saying: “Even if the Prophet Mohammad comes down (from heaven), I will not become a believer.”

The gunmen, who belong to the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, a militant group that started off known as the Nusra Front, took Qatta on Saturday and brought him back alive in the early hours of Sunday to his wooden stand, with whiplash marks visible on his body.

“People gathered around him and a member of the fighting brigade said: ‘Generous citizens of Aleppo, disbelieving in God is polytheism and cursing the prophet is a polytheism. Whoever curses even once will be punished like this.”

“He then fired two bullets from an automatic rifle in view of the crowd and in front of the boy’s mother and father, and got into a car and left,” the report said.

Bashar Assad is a bad guy. Our government’s new allies are no better. How helping yet another terror-affiliated Islamist regime to power will benefit America has not been explained.

What will they be able to accomplish when they run Syria?

Here we go again. Going off to war again simply because we can’t seem to mind our own business. Personally, i don’t care how many of his own people Assad kills. Their civil war is their business, not mine. But, the American sheeple saw fit to elect a Marxist Muslim as their president, so it’s not surprising that he would rush to help his Muslim brothers. Again.

Also, we have several of the more visible progressive RINO’s in congress, like Juan McLoser and his girlfriend Lindsey Graham, calling for us to get more involved in Syria. Of course, it’s not their kids that are going off to fight and die for nothing, and it’s not their money that’s paying for it.

And, if that’s not bad enough, we now have the Muslim-in-Chief saying he will allow tens-of-thousands of Syrian “refugees” (see: terrorists) to come to the worlds largest free public toilet, a.k.a. America. In a way, that should save us a lot of money, since we won’t have to go very far to find terrorists. They’ll be right here.

  2. Serena says:

God what an idiot intervening in Syria. A brutal totalitarian Islamic thug vs. A brutal totalitarian islamic rebel group. We should have sat back and allowed them to kill each other.

  3. mcd says:

I wonder if them so called Rebels will get an extensive “Background Check” from the Oblowme Administration.

  4. brwaldbaum says:

President Nobel Prize sure likes to kill people.

  5. Softly Bob says:

Wasn’t Obama at one time, rambling on about how al-Qaeda were all but finished and that the war on terror was over?
It’s funny then how this idiot is now teaming up with an organization that are all but finished.

  6. Justme says:

Isn’t official by now that the Obama regime is at war with Americans? American citizens are being watched as enemies, our mortal enemies are being armed and invited to come to the US.

When US Christians and Jews are forced under decree to wear little gold stars and crucifixes and marched into waterless showers, Will anyone draw a historical comparison?

Our enemies rule us, they have turned our government into our overlords. When the US Constitution was still in force, TREASON WAS A CAPITAL OFFENSE, under Obama it is considered “PRESIDENTIAL”.

  7. Xavier says:

    Operation Caliphate Rising.

The rebels will eventually acquire Assad’s chemical weapons and whatever weapons Russia’s providing.

That’ll turn out well for Christians around the world. /

  8. Justme says:

As part of the Aid Package, maybe Obama can include some MERVs pre-targeted to hit Israeli and US Cities? Would that really even be a stretch of the imagination at this point?

  9. StanInTexas says:

What I want to know is why is it OUR responsibility to take care of this issue. Are there no other countries that find the actions here deplorable?

This is further proof that America is NOT the world’s policeman, but the worlds GARBAGEMAN. We are expected to run around the world, using our resources and personnel to clean up after everyone.

  10. StanInTexas says:

So long as Jane Fonda, John Kerry, and Jim McDermott are allowed to remain free and in this country, Treason has no meaning!

  11. Tchhht!!! says:

This will not make Al Qaeda friendly to the United States, but of course Obama knows this. Spider is correct. Watch for the influx of terrorist ragheads coming to a city near you.

  12. Jodie says:

Obama “will not rest” until he sees Assad being dragged through the streets, while being sodomized by a bunch of hairy men, allowing for the Muslim Brotherhood to take over Syria.

  13. $50 million a day? Has everyone forgotten that the US military can’t even pay its own civilian workforce this year?

Where is the money for that coming from? Did Congress pass a bill, starting in the House of representatives authorizing that money to be spent for that purpose? Obama can hardly say it is an emergency since this has been going on for over a year.

  14. wingmann says:

“I’m calling my congressman and put a stop to all this”.

  15. WRZ says:

So al-Qaeda’s replacement for Osama bin Laden has been found near as I can tell, he has a similar name, Barack Hussein Obama.

  16. Rotohammer says:

It’s OK! It’s OK! Once the rebels take over and things settle down, we’ll just have someone from the State Dept. at our consulate in Syria buy back the weapons we gave to the rebels for free. Just to assure the rebels we come in peace, we won’t have any strong military presence at the consulate – maybe just hire local help for security. What could possibly go wrong?

  17. Xavier says:

Let’s see: Islamic radicals with chemical weapons and S300 SAMS. Hmmm wonder who they’ll go after in the region?

  18. Garpin says:

Why do we care what happens in Syria? Personally, I hope they completely annihilate each other, leaving only the weak, so they may inherit the lands now occupied by the despicable.

  19. Jeff says:

The corruption of this country continues on. If we had a real congress that understood and honored their oath of office; they would stand up to antichrist Obama (or to be fair all the other past presidents) and tell him that he is NOT sending any troop, any where in the world without the consent of congress. It is the role of congress to declare war, and approve the funding. The president can do all the “authorizing” he wants, but it is congress that provides the funding. But this congress is the most cowardly, corrupt and worthless in the history of this former republic.

  20. KHarn says:

I can’t wait for the ONEderchild to send the “First Gay Brigade” and the “Twenty-Ninth Ass Raiders” over to defend islam.

  21. A. Levy says:

Is anyone here old enough to remember a time when the American people had a limit to the amount of abuse they would tolerate from their elected lying crooks? Are all those people dead, or have their minds been replaced by “smartphones”? How can we blame these public officials for doing what they’re doing to both the people and the country, while we sit here and tolerate it all?

  27. misanthrope says:

Hopefully, the policy is to help the rebels until they start winning, then cut back until Assad’s winning, then start helping the rebels again, rinse and repeat. The more dead ragheads in Syria, the better off we are.

Not that our Muslim-in-Chief will play it that way…
