When Is a Baby Not a Baby?

When is a baby not a baby? When a progressive wants it dead. Never mind whether the baby has been born. That arbitrary cutoff is meaningless. Even outside the womb, a baby is not a baby unless those with power over the baby decide it should live:

Speaking at a recent Q&A on abortion organized by Boston College’s Pro-Life Club, Students for Life of America President Kristan Hawkins point-blank asked a pro-abortion student whether she believed a baby born alive following a botched abortion should be given medical care.

The answer was a firm no, on the grounds that a baby is not a baby but a “fetus” if it has been slated for abortion, regardless of whether the child has been born alive. Yet the same moonbat avers that American taxpayers should be forced to provide medical care for the babies of people who unlawfully invade the country.

Given that a baby is not a baby if they want to kill it, how long before a “racist” is not a human?

On a tip from ABC of the ANC.
