Where the Next School Shooting Will Not Take Place

Union Grove, Texas

No one knows where the next school shooting will take place. But I can tell you where it won’t take place — Union Grove, Texas:

Union Grove ISD officials [last month] put up signs outside their schools stating employees are armed and will “use whatever force is necessary” to protect students in the district, according to News-Journal news partner KETK.

The Union Grove ISD board in January enacted a policy to allow select, licensed and trained teachers and administrators to possess a firearm on campus. Community members wholeheartedly supported the move.

But if you live in a community where such a move would not be supported because there are too many moonbats in the vicinity, there are other ways to ensure that your children will be safe at school. For example, the Bodyguard Blanket:

It’s a bullet resistant protective blanket. Kids can put it on like a backpack, and it will give them head-to-toe defense. It’s made out of the same material used to protect police officers and soldiers, and it can be kept in a classroom and easily put on.

A person shot through the blanket can still be hurt, but the bullet likely won’t kill them. …

Right now, the price is just less than $1,000 per blanket. However, the company hopes to offer discounts for larger orders for school districts.

Say the next Adam Lanza is stalking your local school — what would you rather have defending your child, armed school personnel or a Bodyguard Blanket? Make your decision and vote accordingly.

BUT the blankets would be like the liberal POS’s WANT you to protect yourself. When
THEY come in a school to shoot up the place THEY want causalities! THEY can’t make the news without a body count.

What a great idea! 500 kids in a school times $1,000 – let’s see, using pre-Common Core math that’s $500,000. Hey, not bad. In a school district of, say, 10,000 kids, that’s $10 million. That’s a lot of bake sales. Oh, but wait, bakes sales make kids fat. We’ll just have to raise taxes. Yeah that’s it. More taxes on those rich bastids.

A school safety officer, and some trained teachers and administrators would cost a fraction of that and the signage a few thousand, and a one time cost. What part of that is missed by liberals?

At Newtown, Lanza broke down a glass window to get in when he encountered a locked door. The sound of the shattering glass caused the young female principal to confront the lunatic with only her wits and they were no match for Lanza’s ammo. Imagine how things could have been different if she’d been a trained shooter and had a .40 cal in her hand when she heard the glass break. The body count that day would have been two – Lanza and his mother.

Israel has had armed teachers for years. I saw a picture of one (young lady) teacher herding her young students into school with a rifle slung over her shoulder. There have never been school shootings in Israel. I think, since Obama desperately wants gun control for citizens, I find it rather ironic that we have had so many. Like a spreading disease? I don’t remember if there were shootings during the Bush administration?

I sell ballistic back pack shields for your kids back pack that cost $160.00. Look at the photo in the article. The kids sit on the floor covered with this blanket, which would be highly effective against any shooter not smart enough to walk up, raise the blanket and shoot the kid.
My shields fit into their back pack and let the child run away from danger with the shield between them and the threat. Full NIJ Level IIIA protection AND mobility, weighs about 1 lb. so most any age child can handle the weight. Different sizes available for larger or smaller packs depending upon the age you are trying to protect. Get one for yourself for your laptop commuter bag.
Protect your child and get peace of mind when they are away from you.

Idiotic. On the odd chance a rifle (or pistol for that matter) didn’t pierce the armor the blunt force trauma would certainly prove fatal.

Doubtless a move in the right direction. The better move is Utah’s state law that state anyone who has a concealed carry license can carry a firearm at any public school in Utah, including Utah’s Universities. The school board doesn’t need to decide who can and cannot carry. No permission is needed. And those who teach concealed carry classes often give a discount to teachers and school employees.

Note how few school shootings we have in Utah.
