White Flags Over Brooklyn Bridge

The incidents that are most emblematic of an age may hardly be noticed at the time. This story may not make much of a splash, but looking back, people might remember it as the quintessence of America under Obama:

In a stunning security breach, the giant American flags at the top of both sides of the Brooklyn Bridge were replaced by white flags overnight, cops said.

The two new flags appear to be American flags that were painted over white — the traditional symbol for “surrender” — and were flying Tuesday morning from both towers.

A Muslim plot to destroy the Brooklyn Bridge was foiled thanks to information acquired by waterboarding 911 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed. But these days terrorists don’t get waterboarded; they get traded for deserters.

If someone could paint the flags, someone could plant bombs. But maybe they don’t need to plant bombs. After all, terrorism is psychological warfare. White flags may be just as effective.

Has America surrendered to expansionist Islam, Third World colonization, political correctness, creeping authoritarianism, socialism, degeneration, and decline? If not, what is Obama still doing in the White House?

But not everyone has surrendered.

Bottom line, whoever did this wasn’t wrong, at least as far as our gov’t is concerned. They have surrendered and made it very clear to the rest of the world: We won’t stand up to Moslems. (For my money, you can throw in homosexuals and Russia and China and N. Korea and Syria and Hamas as well.)

We’ve surrendered our status as the world’s only super power. Now the only people that need fear the U.S. gov’t are it’s citizens.

    They’re spied on.

    They’re intimidated by the IRS.

Their 2nd amendment rights are assailed every day.

Their health care has been gutted without their consent.

…and on and on and on.

I’d say those flags were amazingly timely and accurate.

Maybe it’s a symbolic gesture for the invading army from the south. Two flags of surrender spreading from one end of the bridge to the other. The bridge to FREEdom is safe, keep on coming.

Liberals SCREAM about dubua committing crimes of “expansionism” and “colonialism”; Yet they say nothing about islam flooding the world with exactly this intent, even though the “holy” koran demands it. I had to go back and force my text to not capitalize koran. Do none of the supporters of palestine understand this?
Hey Dave, when I type Koran, the damn comment program you use automatically capitalizes it, even while it doesn’t correct other spellings such as hinu.
    Any thought on that?

Back around 1977 I worked with some South Koreans who were welders in the oil-rig manufacturing yard we worked in. One day at lunch I noticed this one guy with a line of cigarette burn scars on his forearm. I knew the guy well enough to ask what those were and he explained it to me. He had been a South Korean soldier on the DMZ. On occasion they would sneak over to the other side and enter a tent, barracks or a post where the North Koreans were sleeping. They would usually leave something just to let the NORKs know they had been there and could have slit their throats had they wanted to. That is psychological warfare. The burn scars were markers for each time he had been on one of those missions.

That somebody placed those flags, whether a domestic enemy or foreign, was able to do that should give pause. We are not safe under this regime.

These faded American Flags were placed there as a message to all Americans that America as we know it is “FADING AWAY” and we need to pay attention to what’s happening in our Government. The American people need to use their freedom of speech and their right to vote and let their voices be heard to save America.
