Why Not Release Illegals in Sanctuary Cities?

Liberals shout that the numberless unskilled hordes pouring illegally into our country enrich the multicultural tapestry; that they improve the economy; that anyone who does not like being inundated with illegal aliens is a racist, and nothing could be worse than a racist; that illegal aliens are actually less crime-prone than American citizens; that allowing unlawful invaders from every failed society on the planet to colonize our country is so important that the supremacy clause must be thrown out the window and federal immigration law ignored in liberal-run sanctuary cites. Yet when the idea is floated (and rejected) of alleviating the overcrowding in detention centers by releasing undocumented Democrats in these same sanctuary cities, liberal heads explode:

A scuttled White House proposal to release immigrant detainees in San Francisco and other sanctuary cities triggered a fierce backlash Friday from Democrats including House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, whose office called the idea “despicable.”

Warning: Democrat hypocrisy on this matter is so massive that it might exert a lethal g-force.

“The extent of this Administration’s cynicism and cruelty cannot be overstated,” Pelosi spokeswoman Ashley Etienne said in a statement Friday. “Using human beings—including little children—as pawns in their warped game to perpetuate fear and demonize immigrants is despicable, and in some cases, criminal.”

Democrats have gone out of their way to encourage the munchkin multitudes of Central America to bring their children when they invade, virtually guaranteeing them a free ticket on the welfare state gravy train if they do. That is, they exploit children to facilitate a foreign invasion of their own country. Despicable would be putting it mildly. As for criminality, this applies more aptly to the unlawful invaders, and to the liberal demagogues who obstruct the enforcement of federal law with their sanctuary policies.

The answer to why illegal aliens should not be released in sanctuary cities is that they should not be allowed into the country in the first place. Those who have entered the country in contravention of our law should be expelled immediately. Those who obstruct federal law with their sanctuary city posturing should be removed from office and prosecuted. The failure to stand firm by these simple principles is what caused the humanitarian crisis at the border.
