Yale Disfigures Art to Censor Politically Incorrect History

In areas controlled by ISIS, we see this:

In areas controlled by militant moonbats like New Orleans Mayor Mitch Landrieu, we see the same:

In areas controlled by liberal educrats, we see something only slightly more subtle:

Via Yale Alumni Magazine:

If you were especially observant during your years on campus, you may have noticed a stone carving by the York Street entrance to Sterling Memorial Library that depict[s] a hostile encounter: a Puritan pointing a musket at a Native American (top). When the library decided to reopen the long-disused entrance as the front door of the new Center for Teaching and Learning, says head librarian Susan Gibbons, she and the university’s Committee on Art in Public Spaces decided the carving’s “presence at a major entrance to Sterling was not appropriate.”

So they covered it up with supposedly removable stone.

How much respect for reality can you expect at a university that disfigures historical art so as to bring it into line with political correctness?

If Muslims and/or liberals prevail, every aspect of the past that does not support their totalitarian ideologies will eventually be erased, so that future generations will never know what a rich and varied world once existed.

On a tip from Jester.

But that’s different!!! /National Socialist Left

  2. Night Wind says:

Moonbats have been doing this for awhile. I remember some wing-nut in Clinton’s term altered the official portraits of FDR to remove his cigarette and insert his wheelchair. Roosevelt never allowed himself even to be photographed in a wheelchair.

So are they all going to learn Chinese? That’s the appropriate language if you want a real Cultural Revolution.

  4. Jodie says:

It appears that the new message on the stone carving, is that the Indians were the aggressors, with their bows and arrows, and the Puritans were unarmed.

  5. Eddie_Valiant says:

The Indians only used bow and arrows for hunting.
You must know that Jodie 🙂

We wouldn’t want the little precious’s learning about real diversity.

  7. RecklessProcess says:

The gun is not pointed at the Indian… What is wrong with it that the musket must be covered but not the bow?
