YouTube Deleted Alternative for Sweden Channel

As previously mentioned, Alternative for Sweden is a dissident right party inspired by the growing Alternative for Germany. Both call for sanity regarding mass Third World immigration and Islamization. Sweden has an election coming up on September 9. Last July 23, YouTube permanently deleted Alternative for Sweden’s channel.

From a Gates of Vienna translation of a piece on Fria Tider:

The reason given was a video clip the party had linked to regarding a news anchor for SVT who spoke Swedish badly.

Under the video clip the party had published the text: “News anchors should be able to speak FLUENT SWEDISH!” This appeal is seen by YouTube as constituting “agitation against a population group” and violating the video service’s so-called “community guidelines”, writes the party in a press release.

As AfS correctly states,

“That foreign private companies with a monopoly have the ability to dictate which opinions and which political parties are able to reach out to the general public is one of the greatest threats to the freedom of expression today.”

Why have progressives in faraway Silicon Valley put their thumb on the scale regarding elections in Sweden? Partially because the Swedish government pressured them into it — although it probably didn’t take much to persuade them.

Because they restrict thought that they do not agree with while allowing even the most outrageous content that favors their agenda, social media giants like YouTube, Twitter, and Facebook are not platforms but rather publishers. Choosing what is said and not said is the same as saying it yourself. They pretend to be neutral platforms so as to be exempt from libel law.

For now, you can still see Alternative for Sweden videos on other YouTube accounts. Watch them fast before the thought police pull the plug on them.

On a tip from Dragon’s Lair.
