Biden has been so conspicuously awful and his party has gone so far off the rails into radicalism that everyone says the Democrats will get blown out in the midterms. Not so fast; it is never too late for the Stupid Party to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory against the Evil Party.

Only a moonbat could think that disarming law-abiding citizens is a sane response to the failure of authorities to stop the massacre in Uvalde — and yet we read this:

Sen. Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) has instructed Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX) to work with Democrats to achieve “bipartisan” gun control legislation.

If this is as bad as it sounds, there will be consequences regarding voter turnout in November.

Republicans, understand that if you betray us – by which we mean pass any item off the garbage Trojan Horse gun-grabbing laundry list the Democrats had been holding ready to spring the next time some worm decided to shoot up a school – then we will abandon you and you will lose the midterms.

You are on the verge of an astonishing and historical victory. The Democrats know they are toast. There is only one way for you to blow it, and that is to choose to sell out your base.

McConnell may reason that Democrats are so intolerable that we have no choice but to vote Republican, even if the GOP sells out to the leftist media by submitting to its anti-gun hysteria. If so, he forgets how much turnout matters. The more disgust must be overcome to vote, the fewer votes will be cast.
