Under a totalitarian regime that is still relatively soft and decentralized, you won’t be subjected to torture in Room 101 for stating incontrovertible facts. But you might be denied healthcare:

A disabled Pennsylvanian woman is speaking out after Planned Parenthood Keystone dismissed her from medical treatment over what they allege are “anti-trans and transphobic” views. The woman, who uses the pseudonym Jane Lane, had been receiving healthcare at the Pennsylvania clinic for over a decade.

With Democrats in charge, Planned Parenthood is in effect a branch of the government. It is funded lavishly with taxpayer money. Much of this is kicked back to Democrats as campaign donations. Democrat apparatchiks will break the kneecaps of those who give Planned Parenthood trouble, as when Kamala Harris went after journalist David Daleiden for exposing Planned Parenthood’s practice of selling body parts harvested from the children it kills.

Without warning, Lane’s upcoming medical appointment was canceled, and she was not allowed to make future appointments. A letter from Planned Parenthood Keystone CEO Trish Tashjian made explicit that Lane was being punished for her viewpoint:

“The dismissal from services is due to repeated offensive conversations and symbols that contradict our commitment to creating an inclusive and compassionate environment for both staff and patients.”

Lane was denounced for “anti-trans and transphobic rhetoric and symbols.”

The letter was initially shared on X by @TTExulansic, who also included photos of the shirts Lane had occasionally worn to her appointments. Among the shirts were those with slogans “Make Women Female Again”; “Woman: Adult Human Female”; and “100% Natural Woman, Female Original.”

That is, her crime is to have affirmed that only women are women. That they regard this fact as impermissible provides insight into whether the ostensible feminists at Planned Parenthood really support women.

Meanwhile,

Lane says she witnessed a Planned Parenthood staff member with yellow and purple hair wearing similarly politicized t-shirts and jewelry, including a “smash the gender binary” pin and “they/them” pronoun earrings.

In a show of liberal tolerance, Planned Parenthood agreed to see Lane “in case of medical emergencies until 5/10/2024” — which is more compassion than you might expect from people who mainly kill babies for a living.

You can see why Democrats have made a priority of incrementally seizing control of healthcare. It gives them significant leverage to punish resistance.

It would be hard to overstate the danger posed by the leftists who control the media. Consider Katherine Maher, cartoonishly woke CEO of the state-affiliated propaganda outlet NPR. Her ambitions are bigger than spooning out moonbattery for kooks with the belly for it. She is a revolutionary in the most alarming sense of the term — as Christopher Rufo reports:

The West’s favored methods of supporting Color Revolutions include fomenting dissent, organizing activists through social media, promoting student movements, and unleashing domestic unrest on the streets. Americans hold varying opinions on such efforts, but what many don’t realize is that they occur not only overseas but also here in the United States. The summer of rioting following the death of George Floyd, which ushered in the new DEI regime, was in many ways a domestic Color Revolution, advanced by progressive NGOs, media entities, and political actors.

Among them was Katherine Maher.

Maher was involved in the wave of Color Revolutions that took place in North Africa in the 2010s, and she supported the post-George Floyd upheavals in the United States in the 2020s.

Remember when Obama helped depose Muammar Gaddafi, a former enemy who had become a de facto ally of the USA against Islamic terrorists, leaving a power vacuum for ISIS? “We came, we saw, he died!” cackled Obama’s chillingly vicious Secretary of State.

During the volatile Arab Spring period, under a constantly rotating series of NGO affiliations, Maher went to multiple countries that were undergoing U.S.-backed regime change.

These include Libya.

That the Obama Regime turned its back on the Green Revolution in Iran puts the lie to the pretense of advancing freedom.

During much of 2011, Maher worked for the National Democratic Institute, a government-funded NGO with deep connections to U.S. intelligence and the Democratic Party’s foreign policy machine. The organization was “set up to do independently what CIA had done covertly worldwide,” says national security analyst J. Michael Waller. While initially some distance supposedly existed between NDI and the intelligence services, that relationship has devolved back to “the gray zone,” per Waller, and it appears that they often work in concert. “NDI is an instrument of Samantha Power and the global revolution elements of the Obama team,” Waller explains. “It has gone along with, and been significant parts of, color revolutions around the world. It is very much a regime-change actor.” …

During her time at NDI, Katherine Maher was “part of a revolutionary vanguard movement,” says Waller.

NPR is a means to an end:

It is state radio, in the Soviet sense: it produces propaganda to advance its own cultural power and move the nation toward a desired end-state.

Maher understood the power of media—and radio, in particular—early in her career. In 2010, according to a now-deleted blog post that I have obtained, Maher speculated that seizing control of radio could be a way to “Govern a Country.”

Only ideologically deranged liberal elitists listen to NPR at this point. But it plays a key role in an overall strategy. So do Wikipedia and the encrypted-messaging application Signal. Maher was CEO of the Wikimedia Foundation and is chairman of the board at Signal.

Where the Deep State, the Obama/Biden regime, and the hostile ideology espoused at our expense on NPR intersect, there stands Katherine Maher.

As ham-fisted lawfare has made obvious, Democrats are pulling out all the stops to prevent Trump from being democratically returned to the White House. If they fail, the next government Maher helps overthrow may be our own.

Despite the setback, Schiff thanked supporter Joe Cotchett at the ritzy dinner in Burlingame, where he was commended for his resilience by Cotchett.

What a tough guy Adam Schiff is. Like most representatives of the liberal establishment, he looks like he is made out of suet. But without grit, he would have lacked the fortitude to continue clinging to the Trump Russia collusion hoax after everyone knew it was a lie.

Don’t worry, his fellow Dems have turned their attention to getting the crime wave they caused under control:

By addressing the root causes of crime and social instability, communities can work towards creating safer and more inclusive environments for all residents.

The spat between the city and the Girl Scout and her mom began when the code enforcement officer asked the mom, Erica Fairbanks McCarroll, if she had the landowner’s permission to sell from the city’s Pine Avenue spot and park a vehicle in a driveway there.

The driveway belongs to the mom’s parents.

The issue became more problematic because Pine Street — the main thoroughfare through this tiny town of 2,000-plus — is essentially controlled by the Wyoming Department of Transportation, which claims ownership of the property, and activity like selling cookies infringed on WYDOT’s right of way of the street.

Looks like Big Government just managed to create another Republican:

“Sometimes I just think that government can be unreasonable,” Emma McCarroll said. “It wasn’t reasonable to be fined $400 for selling cookies in front on my grandparent’s property.”

Theorizes her mom,

“Maybe she (the officer) has something against Girl Scouts.”

The bigger the government, the more vulnerable citizens are to the whims and prejudices of its agents.

In the future, Girl Scouts will sell condoms instead of cookies, so as to encounter no difficulties with the authorities.

A man who gave his name as Luis Cypher delivered a brief speech before commissioners, mostly reiterating the principles of his organization.

Once again, the crowbar used to open the door for the Devil was LGBTism:

The Satanic Temple of West Michigan was able to make the invocation speaker’s list because of a January 2024 change in board policy that allowed pastors to speak on a first-come, first-served basis as long as they follow a set procedure.

Commissioners changed the policy after a Grand Haven pastor who supports LGBTQ rights complained he was not chosen as an invocation speaker after asking twice. He filed a lawsuit that is ongoing.

At least there was some pushback at the board meeting. Christians gathered in the foyer in a show of resistance.

One man began to yell “Hail satan.” Others yelled “We Love Jesus.”

There is no way to make sense of the sheer malice of leftist ideology without reference to evil as an end in itself, so the growing visibility of Devil worshipers should take no one by surprise.

They are being indicted now because a major fork in the road is approaching:

If you are going to work on the Trump campaign, make sure you win. Otherwise, you might land in prison.

Typically of Democrats, Mayes takes the Orwellian approach of claiming that she is snuffing out democracy because she “will not allow American democracy to be undermined.”

If Democrats win after using these tactics, they will only become more arrogant. The last resistance to authoritarian single-party rule will be quickly extinguished. The coming election is a referendum on whether this will be America or a very different kind of country.

The students had created their own “tent city” in solidarity with the sprawling encampment set up at Columbia University, with NYU students demanding their own school divest holdings tied to Israel over the war in Gaza.

During Monday night’s clash with police, some protesters pelted NYPD officers with bottles as they worked to clear the encampment, with one demonstrator hitting a cop in the head with a chair, the NYPD said.
