NASCAR President Denounces Let’s Go Brandon
Professional sports are among the institutions that have been subverted by leftists. This was on graphic display last year, when sports leagues alienated patriotic fans with theatrical displays of obsequiousness to leftist rioters. It continues, even in sports leagues that have an overwhelmingly countermoonbat fan base — like NASCAR:
NASCAR denounced its association with the “Let’s go, Brandon” political cry being used across the country as an insult directed at President Joe Biden. Steve Phelps, NASCAR’s president, said Friday the top motorsports series in the United States does not want to be associated with politics “on the left or the right.”
Too late, Phelps. You NASCAR suits have already associated yourselves with left-wing politics by banning Confederate flags on the command of hate hoaxer Bubba Wallace, who has raced with a Black Lives Matter theme painted on his car.
NASCAR fans are already associated with Let’s Go Brandon. They were chanting “F*** Joe Biden” when Kelli Stavast of NBC Sports tried to gaslight the public by claiming they were chanting “Let’s go Brandon” to cheer for Brandon Brown at Talladega. The rest is history.
Phelps also said NASCAR will pursue action against any illegal use of its trademarks on merchandise boasting the slogan. Retired baseball star Lenny Dykstra posted a photo on Twitter this week of a man eating breakfast at a New Jersey hotel wearing a black “Let’s go, Brandon” shirt alongside NASCAR’s trademarked color bars.
Siccing lawyers on patriots will not increase the popularity of the NASCAR brand. But that doesn’t matter, because the point of professional sports is no longer to entertain or to make money. It is to ram moonbattery down our throats on behalf of the liberal establishment.
Let’s Go Brandon defies both the tyrannical Biden regime and the lying media that put it in power and props it up. Now it also defies Steve Phelps, so NASCAR fans should chant it even louder.
