Regarding math instruction, do you think it is better for a student to come up with the right than the wrong answer? Then you are a white supremacist. No worries; the Oregon Department of Education is purging mathematics of racism by means of a special toolkit:

Part of the toolkit includes a list of ways “white supremacy culture” allegedly “infiltrates math classrooms.” Those include “the focus is on getting the ‘right’ answer,” students being “required to ‘show their work,’” and other alleged manifestations.

According to ODE Communications Director Marc Siegel, the objective is to “develop strategies to improve equitable outcomes for Black, Latinx, and multilingual students.” “Multilingual” presumably means “unable to speak English.”

Only by ensuring that no student learns anything can absolute equity be achieved.

An associated “Dismantling Racism” workbook, linked within the toolkit, similarly identifies “objectivity” — described as “the belief that there is such a thing as being objective or ‘neutral'” — as a characteristic of White supremacy.

If you believe that it is objectively true that 2 + 2 = 4, you have manifested a characteristic of white supremacy, the most horrific scourge ever to menace the human race.

Under liberal rule, our utopian future will be purged of white supremacy. Students not only will be unsure what two and two add up to, but will rigorously denounce as a thought criminal anyone who claims to know.

In place of math, students will be taught goodthink:

“The framework for deconstructing racism in mathematics offers essential characteristics of antiracist math educators and critical approaches to dismantling white supremacy in math classrooms by visualizing the toxic characteristics of white supremacy culture,” the toolkit reads before linking to both the workbook and a paper on “white supremacy culture.”

Nothing could destroy a civilization more certainly than moonbattery.
