Dr Fauci has proclaimed that the millennia-old tradition of shaking hands may need to be canceled. Looks like his suggestion is taking root in the tyranny-friendly soil to our north:

If people will tolerate being penalized for talking to each other and for shaking hands, what won’t they put up with? How long before a society that does not insist on even the most basic freedom degenerates into a police state?
