Vintage Hate Hoax: Jerome Kevin Jackson

This Vintage Hate Hoax originally appeared on Moonbattery June 20, 2020:

Considering that most everyone has uncritically accepted the death of violent career criminal George Floyd as a racial incident, some might think there is no need to fabricate hate crimes to prop up the phony narrative of racial oppression. But habits are hard to break, so incidents like this one from Maryland will probably continue:

A 54-year-old Princess Anne man will plead guilty Friday in the case of multiple instances of racist graffiti being found at Salisbury University during the 2019-2020 school year, the Wicomico County State’s Attorney’s Office said Monday.

On June 3, officials charged Jerome Kevin Jackson with a single count of misdemeanor maliciously defacing property while exhibiting racial animosity, commonly referred to as a hate crime statute. He’s accused of being responsible for the racist and sometimes gender-discriminatory graffiti that was found on campus on five separate occasions during the past school year.

Like most people who deface property with racist graffiti, Jerome Kevin Jackson is a Person of Politically Preferred Pigmentation.

In February, classes were canceled because racist graffiti was found, including a reference to hanging “ni**ers” during Black History Month. The media loves incidents like this — until they turn out to be hate hoaxes, as they almost invariably do.
