Sarah Bloom Raskin Nomination Shot Down

Another shocking nomination by the irresponsible radical Joe Biden bites the dust:

Sarah Bloom Raskin, President Joe Biden’s pick for a top Federal Reserve role, has pulled herself from consideration.

Leftists don’t step back from power voluntarily:

Her withdrawal comes a day after Sen. Joe Manchin, a centrist Democrat from West Virginia, said he would not vote for her, all but sealing her fate. He cited remarks she has made critical of the fossil fuel industry in his decision.

Consistent with the Biden regime, Raskin is a maniac on the topic of energy. She has made clear that she would use her position to destroy the American energy industry in the name of fringe climate ideology.

[Raskin] has advocated having the Fed allocate capital and choke off credit to disfavored industries, such as oil and gas.

Barks Raskin:

Financial regulators must reimagine their own role so that they can play their part in the broader reimagining of the economy.

The objective is to leave us shivering in the dark for the sake of the Great Reset. The radical left, for which Biden serves as figurehead, is as malevolent as it is insane.

As when he saved us from the Build Back Better blowout that would have tipped our current economic decline into a nosedive, Americans owe Joe Manchin a debt of gratitude. His fellow Democrats will have out the long knives over this. Maybe the parties could work out a trade: Manchin for Mitt Romney.

In the extract above, Manchin is referred to as a “centrist Democrat.” This is inaccurate in light of Democrats’ Overton window having moved far to the left, leaving Manchin stranded. Former VP candidate Tim Kaine would more properly fit the definition of a centrist Democrat. He disabuses us of the notion that malicious kooks like Raskin are outliers in what the Democratic Party has become:
