Yvette Thurston, 54, was taken into custody Monday and faces charges of first-degree aggravated battery and three counts of first-degree child abuse

At last word, she had been set loose on low bail.

Little Blessings Child Care is affiliated with the Bainbridge Church of God, according to the daycare’s social media page.

If anything could make assaulting a small child even worse, that would be it.
