The moonbats infesting the American legal system have subverted it in favor of anarchotyranny. The stories of Edward Coristine and Charles Burgess show how it works.

Readers will recall that Edward Coristine — aka “Big Balls” of DOGE fame — received a severe beating in DC while defending his girlfriend during an attempted carjacking. The feral “teens” who attacked him have the system on their side:

Briggs released one teen to a youth shelter and the other to his mother.

The thugs probably assumed in advance that there would be essentially no punishment even if they were caught.

Coristine offended the liberal establishment by helping to cut government waste; he compounded this by being a white victim of black criminals — not that they would have been punished anyway.

Burgess’s offense was greater still; he poked fun at the 99.9% lesbian WNBA by participating in the recent fad of tossing a sex toy:

Charles Burgess, 32, of Dayton, surrendered Wednesday morning at Brooklyn’s 78th Precinct – which covers the area of the Barclays Center, where he allegedly threw the lime green dildo around 8:45 p.m. Aug. 5, police said.

The dildo allegedly hit someone in the leg.

Burgess was arraigned on multiple charges, including attempted assault in the second and third degrees, third-degree assault, second-degree menacing, second-degree reckless endangerment, third-degree obscenity, fourth degree criminal possession of a weapon, interference with a professional sporting event and second-degree harassment, the complaint said.

When a minor act of tastelessness is treated as vastly more serious than beating someone to a bloody pulp in an attempt to steal his car, you don’t have a system of justice. You have a system of social justice.
