The anticop moonbats running Boston have not yet managed to defund the police out of existence and already crime is so out of control that a lemonade stand run by children was held up at gunpoint.

It happened around 4:40 p.m. Wednesday on West Ninth Street. Dave Byrne said his 11-year-old daughter and 12-year-old son were selling lemonade when two kids asked to buy some, but then said they didn’t have any money. Byrne said the two left and when they came back, one flashed a black gun in his waistband.

They grabbed the cashbox and ran off.

The children set up the lemonade stand to earn a few dollars and learn the value of hard work.

They also learned that wealth created through work is taken by those who do not work by force. Mainly this is done via the government, but as a culture of crime flourishes and law & order are eroded by liberalism, wealth transfers increasingly occur on a more direct basis.
