Baltimore Schools Attain Equity

Some liberal objectives are pie in the sky. Fortunately for plant life, which thrives on CO2, zero carbon emissions will never be achieved, because all human and even all animal activity produces harmless carbon dioxide. In contrast, equity can actually be attained. This has already happened in Baltimore:

The Maryland State Department of Education recently released Baltimore students’ 2022 test results, which revealed that 93% of third- through eighth-graders tested below their grade level in math, WBFF-TV reported.

Not good; we can’t have a privileged 7% achieving grade level and leaving the rest behind. But wait:

After analyzing the results, the local news outlet found 23 city schools where not a single student tested proficient in math.

Congratulations to these city schools for actualizing the liberal dream. Other schools are almost there:

WBFF also revealed that another 20 Baltimore City Schools had just one or two students with grade-level math scores.

Not everyone will achieve, because we all have different levels of ability and motivation. The only way to reach equity is to reduce everyone to the lowest common denominator of total failure.

You don’t get a nice even lawn by raising the short blades of grass up, but by cutting the tall ones down. This explains liberal education policy.

On a tip from Mr. Freemarket.
