Evidence accrues that DEI principles should not be used to select justices for the Supreme Court:

Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor likened the side effects of transgender medical procedures on minors to that of taking an over-the-counter painkiller during Wednesday’s oral arguments in the U.S. v. Skrmetti case.

“Every medical treatment has a risk, even taking aspirin,” Sotomayor said.

Seriously, she compared having your genitals cut off or being castrated chemically to the tummy ache you might get from taking aspirin.

Elaborates Sotomayor:

“There’s always going to be a percentage of the population under any medical treatment that’s going to suffer a harm.”

One difference between medical treatments and transgender procedures is that with the latter, the percentage subjected to harm is 100%.

At least no one on the court could be any dumber than the self-described “wise Latina.” Oh wait:
