FDR holds a prominent place in the pantheon of progressives. Although his leftist economic policies were disastrous and hamper the country to this day, he was no fool. Consider this insightful observation:
Fox News provides a likely example:
Democratic Gov. Mikie Sherrill said that a “serious software error in New Jersey’s Motor Vehicle System led to the registration of roughly 6,600 people who indicated that they were not U.S. citizens between June 2023 and June 2024, almost three years prior to my taking office.”
Funny how these errors only go in the direction of more votes for Democrats.
When it won’t stay under the rug, blame it on your predecessor:
“I am appalled by the reckless failures that allowed this to happen and the lack of transparency shown by those in charge at the time,” she said, emphasizing for the third time that the improper voting didn’t happen on her watch.
Then snarl at Trump:
In the same message admitting that people in her state improperly voted, Sherrill then attacked President Donald Trump for what she described as spreading lies about the legitimacy of American elections.
Surely no one would doubt the legitimacy of elections in a political climate as pristine as deep blue New Jersey.
