Biden’s handlers have been forced to scale back the mask madness, but Democrats are not happy about Covid winding down. The Regime issued an alert Friday that easing pointless pandemic restrictions could lead to attacks by “violent extremists”:

The alert does not cite any specific threats. But it warns of potential danger from an increasingly complex and volatile mix that includes domestic terrorists inspired by various grievances, racial or ethnic hatred and influences from abroad.

Translation: The danger is from wrong-thinking deplorables from Jesus Land who are in league with Russians.

Those threats were exacerbated by COVID-19, which spawned conspiracy theories and deepened anger at the government in some quarters over the shutdown of the economy.

Translation: Regular Americans are extra dangerous because not all are enthused about the government-induced depression that Biden has been prolonging.

“Violent extremists may seek to exploit the easing of COVID-19-related restrictions across the United States to conduct attacks against a broader range of targets after previous public capacity limits reduced opportunities for lethal attacks,” the bulletin said.

If things get really out of hand, an eccentric dressed in a Buffalo costume may trespass on federal property.

This is rich:

[A]ntigovernment sentiment after President Joe Biden’s election … is still present, with the latest alert noting online calls for violence against politicians, law enforcement, and government buildings. “Many of the threats outlined in today’s bulletin persist from the long shadow cast by the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol,” said Rep. Bennie Thompson, a Mississippi Democrat who serves as chairman of the House Committee on Homeland Security.

In the past year, Black Lives Matter and Antifa rioters have injured over 2,000 law enforcement officers. They set fire to police stations in Minneapolis, Portland, and St Louis. They tried to set fire to a police station in Seattle with officers trapped inside. They laid extended siege to a federal courthouse in Portland, which they also set on fire. But since they were acting as a cat’s paw for the Democrat Party, they aren’t regarded as a threat.

The shaved gerbil in charge of the DHS isn’t alone in regarding Americans as Threat #1. We narrowly dodged having leftist apparatchik Merrick Garland on the Supreme Court. Now he serves as Biden’s wingman, as the notorious gun-runner Eric Holder did for Obama. Garland regards his ideological opponents as Enemies of the State, as Yahoo reports:

Attorney General Merrick Garland told Congress on Wednesday that violence incited by white supremacists poses “the most dangerous threat to our democracy.”

If they ever capture a “white supremacist,” they should parade him on television so we can see what one looks like. I picture something like Satan, except with a Hitler moustache.

The Yahoo story gives the Oath Keepers and the Proud Boys as examples of “white supremacist groups.” The Oath Keepers are about the Constitution, not race. The Proud Boys are headed by the Afro-Cuban Enrique Tarrio.

The Capitol Riot is once again cited as an example of white supremacist violence, although it had nothing to do with race. Yahoo asserts that “Five people died as a result of the attack.” In reality, only one person died by violence: the unarmed Ashli Babbitt, who was apparently murdered by the authorities.

Then Yahoo states that it was white supremacists who bombed the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City in 1995. By “white supremacist,” leftists appear to mean anyone who disagrees with their ideology.

Prepare to be gaslit:

Republicans continue to insist that antifa and Black Lives Matter are as great a threat to national security as white supremacy, though research has shown that most of last summer’s Black Lives Matter-inspired protests were peaceful.

Two billion dollars in damages. Hundreds upon hundreds of declared riots. But they were peaceful riots.

The propaganda we are presented with as news is comprised of ludicrously obvious lies.

You might want to burst into guffaws at the hysteria, hyperbole, and unmitigated BS coughed up by our rulers and amplified by their lackeys in the media. But it is no laughing matter that under Democrat rule, the US government openly regards American citizens as the enemy. It is utilizing a propaganda apparatus as shamelessly unreasonable as anything behind the Iron Curtain to demonize those it plans to attack.
