Massachusetts Offers Insight Into Purpose of Shutdown

What is the point of the Schumer Shutdown? Howie Carr offers clues from Democrat-ruled Massachusetts:

Gov. Maura Healey has squandered $3.5 billion (and counting) on providing hordes of illegal aliens from the Third World with lavish, all-expenses-paid lifetime vacations on the taxpayers’ dime.

Yet now she says American citizens may have to go without food stamps next month because she can’t come up with $240 million.

The people most hurt by Democrats’ absurdly unreasonable shutdown comprise their own base:

The Democrats have taken hostages — unpaid government employees and, in the case of food stamps, the non-working classes. Food stamps go mostly to people who don’t work — in other words, the core constituency of the Democrat party. …

In some red states, the governors are stepping up with funds to make up for the Democrat-induced EBT shortfalls. We’ll have none of that here in Massachusetts, in this one-party state.

The pain is not only avoidable but deliberate.

Every afternoon on my radio show, I play Tik Tok audio from all the gimme girls and guys threatening all sorts of mayhem on working people if they lose their food stamps. They’re going to loot, rob, mug taxpayers at the ATM, carjack them and come to their houses at Thanksgiving demanding steak and lobster…

The gimme girls and guys were bred in their teaming millions by the Welfare State the way a factory farm would breed chickens. The time is coming for them to be deployed.

Top Democrat donor George Soros has spent many $millions driving up the rate of violent crime by installing pro-criminal district attorneys throughout the country. The liberal establishment went out of its way to encourage the hundreds of Black Lives Matter riots. The purpose was the same as with the shutdown: to utilize their lowlife base to destabilize American society so as to create a situation that would allow radicals secure power.
