Maxime Bernier Arrested for Covid Violations

Canadian politician Maxime Bernier was a cabinet minister under Stephen Harper and served as an MP 2006–2019. He is founder and leader of the People’s Party of Canada, having abandoned the Conservative Party over its sellout embrace of political correctness, corporate welfare, et cetera. He is also a Covid criminal. In the second year of the ChiCom virus, Canadians continue to witness scenes like this one on Friday:

Rebel News reports:

Bernier was in Manitoba with a plan to host events in multiple cities, but was warned by the province’s public health authorities that he would be required to quarantine for 14 days upon arriving in the province.

The People’s Party leader instead vowed to continue on with his rallies in spite of the warning. …

Bernier has been on a speaking tour across the country, holding rallies calling for an end to lockdowns and for a return to normalcy. He has received numerous charges for hosting these political rallies…

At least the Canadian Covid Gestapo is blandly polite as it hauls you off to jail for exercising fundamental rights like peaceably assembling.

Bernier is in good company. Recall that courageous pastor Artur Pawlowski was arrested last month on similar charges.

On a tip from Wiggins.
