Next After Inflation: Blackouts

If you like the inflation largely caused by Biden’s green energy policy, you will love the coming blackouts:

Power grid operators from across the United States have warned that they are struggling to keep up with the demand for electricity as they attempt to transition to cleaner energy sources, meaning that some parts of the country could see blackouts during the summer.

From the Wall Street Journal:

The risk of electricity shortages is rising throughout the U.S. as traditional power plants are being retired more quickly than they can be replaced by renewable energy and battery storage. Power grids are feeling the strain as the U.S. makes a historic transition from conventional power plants fueled by coal and natural gas to cleaner forms of energy such as wind and solar power, and aging nuclear plants are slated for retirement in many parts of the country.

Fossil fuels work. Nuclear works. Wind and solar do not work, except as a means of laundering taxpayer money before paying off campaign donors à la Barack Obama. Political posturing on behalf of the global warming hoax will not heat your home or keep your computer running.

Other ways the pointless war on fuel fossils exacerbate the problem include:

A push to electrify home heating and cooking, and the expected growth of electric vehicles, may increase power demand in coming years, putting further pressure on the system.

You can’t put moonbats in charge and expect the lights to stay on indefinitely.

On a tip from Chuck A.
