NY Times Covid Reporter: Lab Leak Theory Is Racist
Not long ago, you could get banned by Facebook and Twitter for bringing up the likelihood that Covid was produced by the Wuhan Institute of Virology, possibly as part of a biological weapons program. Now, even Dr Fauci — who may have been involved in financing the development of the virus with our money — has admitted to the possibility. However, since then he has characteristically flip-flopped. Another bitter clinger to the improbable natural origin narrative can be found at the flagship publication of the liberal establishment. According to key New York Times Covid reporter Apoorva Mandavilli, regardless of whether it is true, disputing it is racist:

Since she deleted the tweet, even Apoorva must realize that the cat is out of the bag, and calling us racist for thinking the Chinese Communist Party could ever do anything wrong will not stop people from learning the truth. Maybe she imagines the credibility of the New York Times can still be salvaged.
It damages the NYT’s reputation to have a key reporter on the most important story of the year say a valid news angle shouldn’t be discussed because it has “racist roots.” Aren’t they supposed to be in the news business? https://t.co/OVaQ0ysCzz
