Many believe that the Secret Service is guilty of malicious apathy if not collusion regarding the assassination attempt on Trump, on the grounds that not even the federal government could be that incompetent. But we might underestimate how far moonbat bureauweenies take DEI.

Judicial Watch recently obtained official records…

…that show the Secret Service has made it a top priority that “diversity and inclusion is not just ‘talked about’ – but demonstrated by all employees through ‘Every Action, Every Day.’” [Emphasis in original]

Our rulers’ devotion to this pernicious ideology is like something out of black comedy about a lunatic cult:

The records show the Secret Service, which is part of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), demands that 12 percent of its workforce be composed of “persons with disabilities” …

Both physical and mental disabilities are sought. Meeting their Cultural Marxist quota for schizophrenic paraplegics takes priority over preventing assassinations.

An emphasis on recruiting and promoting those with mental disabilities might explain why Kimberly Cheatle was put in charge.

DEI and competence are oil and water. Whether this is an explanation or cover for the Secret Service’s performance during and after Butler may never be known, due to the arrogant opacity that characterizes all things Swamp.
