New York City’s tax base is running for its life. The draconian and overextended COVID-19 lockdown accounts for only part of the city’s precipitous demise. Anarchy stemming from leftist ideology has turned the city into a deadly hellscape.

Emptying the jails onto the streets does not make people safer after all, despite Bill de Blasio’s progressive rhetoric. Neither does egging on rioters or hamstringing the police.
