Merriam-Webster defines “Jacobin” as “a member of an extremist or radical political group.” Wikipedia adds that in France, where the term originated during the nightmarish French Revolution, nowadays “Jacobin” usually refers to an advocate of “strong central government powers and/or supporters of extensive government intervention to transform society.” A Jacobin is a left-wing maniac of the type that produced this actual headline:

Hitler relaxed vaccine mandates because he was bad and wanted people to die. Anyone who opposes vaccine mandates must have the same motive.
