My apologies. I never should have been so skeptical of the Climate Catastrophe. It seemed as if the crisis had been invented out of whole cloth by scoundrels seeking to exploit the gullibility of fools to seize money and power. But obviously there is a serious problem, in light of the revelation that due to climate change, the thermometer hit 180°F this summer in Portland, Oregon.

As you might expect, people died. It sounds incredible, but it must be true. We have it on the word of Democratic Congressman Earl Blumenauer, who revealed the shocking information at the United Nations climate summit:

“We are in a race against time,” the congressman said at a press conference Wednesday alongside several of his Democratic colleagues.

“It took on new urgency for me this year with the horrific events,” he continued. “There was one day this summer in Portland, where temperatures in the heart of my district hit 180 degrees. People died.”

At least Portland is all past Covid now. Three minutes at 149°F kills the virus.
