German activist Rudi Dutschke believed that a society could be enslaved under communism without force of arms through a concept he called the “long march through the institutions.” Looks like he was right.

All of the key institutions have fallen and now serve to advance leftist ideology, prominently including education and the media. Obsequious displays of support for the violent lowlifes comprising Black Lives Matter marked the fall of corporate America and professional sports. Radical leftism suffuses virtually every institution, including even professional associations.

The American Medical Association now seems less interested in advancing medicine than in combatting individualism, which it denounces as “problematic,” and in advancing the radical concept of “equity” — a horrifying condition that would rob life of meaning and that could not be achieved except through coercion on a totalitarian level. Rather than curing disease, it has become the disease, having been absorbed by the leftist Borg. It has embraced both economic and cultural Marxism, as John Stossel documents:

The healthcare establishment succumbing to moonbattery will have consequences. Already federal pressure has resulted in medical apartheid, with whites last in line to receive life-saving treatment.

Imagine if the AMA is able to do to healthcare what the teachers unions have done to education. Our pets will receive better medical care than we do.
