Note that 1978 was well after the beginning of the Industrial Revolution, which Great Reset leftists want to repeal in favor of a Medieval serf lifestyle for the masses on the grounds that our high standard of living causes global warming.

They should have stuck with the ice age narrative. Cold weather is more frightening. Twenty times as many people die from cold than from heat, even during our current supposed global warming climate crisis.

Life likes warmth. Biodiversity is easier to find at the equator than at the poles.

As for actual temperatures, they are irrelevant. The government fudges the numbers anyway. According to postmodern leftist ideology, the temperature is whatever they use the media to convince you it is.
