The decay implicit in moonbattery is not something moonbats can spend their way out of, no matter how profligately they waste other people’s money. Consider the Left Coast:

Some believe officials are ignoring the city’s most urgent problems, choosing instead to focus on crafting the illusion of a perfect city through cosmetic renovations.
